The“double reduction” policy clearly states that students’ academic burden should be reduced,students’ school time should be used in high quality,and the quality of education and teaching should be greatly improved.Physics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022Edition)defines the curriculum objectives oriented by core literacy.Experiments are the basis for the formation and development of core literacy in physics.In the process of inquiry,students’ physics concepts can be formed,scientific thinking and scientific inquiry ability can be developed,and scientific attitude and responsibility can be cultivated and improved.After-class physics experiment is a supplement to classroom experiment and an effective way to cultivate the core literacy of physics.This paper uses the questionnaire method to understand the current status of junior high school physics experiment teaching and students’ attitude towards physics experiment from the perspective of students.Based on relevant theories of education and teaching,combined with the requirements of the new curriculum standard,this paper constructs the after-school experimental design of physics unit based on the "double reduction” policy,and carries out teaching practice with the unit of “Force and Movement” as the carrier of after-school experimental research.Quasiexperimental research method was used to organize experimental classes and control classes to test the effect of after-school experiments.The after-school experimental activities of each unit in Grade 8 of Shanghai Science Edition are designed,which provides a reference for teachers to carry out after-school experiments.Practice shows that carrying out after-school physics experiments in junior high school can promote students’ understanding of physics concepts and laws,improve students’ thinking level and practical ability,improve students’ interest in physics learning,and reduce students’ academic burden,that is,never delay the learning tasks that can be completed at school to home,even if there is a small amount of homework.But also through the way of experiment to stimulate students’ interest in learning physics knowledge,complete in happiness.To ensure the “double reduction” policy in the real sense of implementation.Through this study,it can also be seen that students not only learn physics knowledge and master scientific methods in the activity,but also provide a practical path for the cultivation of the core literacy of physics. |
