The rapid development of artificial intelligence has a great impact on our production and life.China has issued a series of policies to promote the development of artificial intelligence.In 2020,the Ministry of Education issued "The Curriculum Standards for Information Technology in Secondary Vocational Schools",which opened the prelude of artificial intelligence education in secondary vocational schools.At the same time,the rise of domestic STEAM education emphasizes the integration of disciplines,which can cultivate students’ practical ability and innovative spirit,and is conducive to improving their comprehensive quality.The development of artificial intelligence school-based curriculum in secondary vocational schools based on STEAM education philosophy will bring new vitality and vitality to the curriculum.Guided by the STEAM education concept,this research has developed an AI school-based curriculum for secondary vocational students.The purpose of this course is to enrich the AI school-based curriculum resources in the secondary vocational field and provide reference for secondary vocational teachers to develop and implement AI school-based curriculum.In this study,the literature research method is first used to analyze the current research status of STEAM education and secondary vocational artificial intelligence courses,and the necessity of developing a secondary vocational artificial intelligence school-based course based on STEAM education concept is proposed.Then,through reading literature and works,I have learned the basic connotation and characteristics of STEAM education,and grasped the concept and development model of school-based curriculum development.Thirdly,through questionnaires and interviews,the needs of students,teachers,and schools in school-based curriculum development are analyzed.Based on the results of the needs analysis,curriculum design is conducted,including the formulation of curriculum objectives,the selection of curriculum content,the organization of curriculum content,and the design of curriculum structure.Then,according to the curriculum design,the specific development of curriculum content,teaching courseware,teaching design,supporting micro courses,curriculum evaluation,and other content is carried out.Finally,two projects,"fruit and vegetable recognition" and "address recognition",were selected as chapter cases for teaching design demonstration,and expert evaluation verified the effectiveness of the artificial intelligence school-based curriculum.This paper includes three innovations: First,integrating the STEAM education concept into the process of AI school-based curriculum development in secondary vocational schools,so as to cultivate the practical ability and innovative thinking of secondary vocational students,providing a new perspectives and idea for AI school-based curriculum development in secondary vocational schools.Secondly,there is currently a limited amount of research on secondary vocational artificial intelligence courses related to STEAM education,indicating that this article has some cutting-edge significance.The quantitative evaluation of the course objectives,teaching content,teaching organization,teaching design,and teaching methods through expert evaluation ensures the effectiveness of the research.Thirdly,starting from Guizhou local characteristic projects,create real learning scenarios that are close to students’ lives,and develop a Guizhou vocational college AI school-based curriculum with local characteristics.
