China issued the "Developing Core Literacy of Chinese Students" in2016,and pointed out the focus of rational thinking,which is the importance and basic requirements of the cultivation of students’ thinking ability.The thinking class that aims at training students’ thinking quality and improving their thinking ability,is the main front to train students’ scientific thinking ability.The systematic sorting out of the materials of scientific thinking ability in high school biology textbooks,forming teaching resources to cultivate the core quality of scientific thinking ability and designing thinking class teaching,which is of great significance to enrich the theory of biology thinking class teaching in high school and can provide reference for first-line teaching.But the role of thinking class in cultivating students’ scientific thinking ability needs further exploration.This study collected and sorted out relevant literature of thinking class to understand the research progress of thinking class at home and abroad.In addition,a questionnaire survey was conducted on students and biology teachers in grade one,grade two and grade three of 3 urban demonstration high schools,2 urban ordinary high schools and 2 county high schools in Guiyang,and the cultivation status of scientific thinking ability in biology classroom was investigated by combining with the interview results of teachers in practical schools.Analyze and sort out the corresponding concepts and hierarchical relationships of chapter contents and columns,scientific thinking methods and quality of scientific thinking in high school biology required textbooks,and design teaching activities;Design a thinking class teaching practice case based on the cultivation of biological science thinking ability in high school and carry out the practice for one semester;This paper analyzes and evaluates the students’ scientific thinking ability through the questions of scientific thinking method,the questionnaire on the quality of scientific thinking and the content test of scientific thinking,combined with the students’ academic performance,classroom performance and homework.This paper expounds the influence of thinking class on students’ acquisition of scientific thinking knowledge,mastering of scientific thinking methods and improving the quality of scientific thinking,reveals the application effect of thinking class on cultivating students’ scientific thinking ability in biology teaching in senior high school,and puts forward some teaching suggestions on the design and development of thinking class.It provides reference for high school biology teachers to cultivate scientific thinking ability.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The quality of students’ scientific thinking is relatively weak,and their understanding and mastery of scientific thinking methods need to be strengthened.Students highly recognize the importance of cultivating scientific thinking ability and have high expectations.At present,teachers do not fully understand the connotation of scientific thinking ability,and most teachers are in the exploratory stage for the cultivation of scientific thinking ability and the improvement of thinking quality.2.The thinking classroom teaching based on the cultivation of scientific thinking ability is conducive to promoting students’ mastery of five scientific thinking methods: model and modeling,induction and generalization,analysis and synthesis,critical thinking and creative thinking.3.The thinking classroom teaching based on the cultivation of scientific thinking ability can effectively promote the improvement of students’ quality of "flexibility","critical" and "originality" scientific thinking,while the quality of "agility" has no significant change,while the improvement of "profound" quality needs further exploration.4.The thinking classroom teaching based on the cultivation of scientific thinking ability plays an obvious role in promoting the improvement of students’ academic performance,and can effectively promote students to master the content of scientific thinking.The class using thinking class has made great progress in academic performance,mind mapping,homework completion and other aspects,and the class performance in Level 3 and 4 is more frequent,which is conducive to the achievement of scientific thinking literacy level.In conclusion,the thinking classroom based on the cultivation of scientific thinking ability is suitable for biology teaching in high school,and has produced positive effects.
