| The Education Informatization 2.0 Action Plan opens a new round of education informatization construction, and the new phase points out that it is necessary to change from improving teachers’ and students’ information technology application ability to comprehensively improving their information literacy, and from integrating application innovation development, and proposes to gather the strength of all parties to build high-quality large-scale online open courses to meet the personalized needs of learners, pedagogues and administrators. The innovative application of Google Earth in geography teaching not only provides students with a relaxed learning atmosphere, but also promotes students’ geographic information literacy, and is a high-quality platform for geography teaching.Based on the analysis of geography curriculum standards and teaching materials, this paper sorts out the main functions of Google Earth related to geography teaching and selects the teaching contents suitable for the development of micro-course resources by using Google Earth, taking“Karst” and “River geomorphology” as examples, the design and development of micro-course resources were carried out.Specific research content mainly includes the following three aspects:(1)Based on the analysis of karst landforms and river landforms in terms of objectives, learning conditions and important and difficult points,Google Earth is used as a platform to integrate and explore the map resources in Arc GIS,Global Mapper,Surfer and other geographic information technology software, and to collect text, images, audio and other resources related to the topic,so as to create a KML file resource library with "karst landforms" and "river landforms" as the topic in Google Earth.(2)Based on the content of the file library in Google Earth, write and design an implementable micro-lesson script, display the Google Earth layer interface according to the script content, and use Katyusha recording software(Camtasia)to record and edit the display content, and generate "karst landforms" and "river landforms".The micro-lesson resources of "karst landforms" and "river landforms" were generated.(3)Through the implementation of the teaching cases and the release of the network resources to obtain the effect evaluation and collect feedback, according to the evaluation of the practical effect and the network information feedback, summarize the problems and shortcomings of the resource development process, and then reflect and optimize the development results.Through the analysis of the implementation effect of teaching cases and the evaluation feedback of resource release,it can be found that the geography micro-lesson resources and thematic resource library developed by the article based on Google Earth can be favored and valued by teachers and students, and its application in geography teaching can also better stimulate students’ interest in geography learning, enhance students’ independent learning ability and cultivate students’ geography core literacy. |
