Chemistry experiments are an important part of high school teaching and an important carrier for cultivating students’ core discipline literacy.However,students generally have difficulties in solving experimental problems due to scattered experimental knowledge and variable test contexts.While the integration of teaching content based on thematic contexts can structure knowledge,and the construction of thinking model can regular knowledge and program thoughts.Therefore,based on the thematic teaching mode of model cognition,this paper carrying out the senior laboratory review has some practical significance.This paper first reviews both domestic and international literature to clarify the connotations of concepts such as model cognition and thematic teaching,and sorts out relevant teaching theories,teaching strategies and teaching cases.Then,we investigate the weak points of students at different academic levels about experimental knowledge and their causes by understanding the current situation of chemistry experiment study of senior students through pre-teaching test and interview.We construct a thematic teaching model based on model cognition for the laboratory review lesson on account of the current situation,build the teaching process through two clues of "Thematic cohesion-Model construction",propose corresponding teaching strategies for each link: theme creation strategy,content integration strategy,problem design strategy,activity organization strategy,model representation strategy,and migration application strategy,then design teaching cases to implement teaching experiments.The post-teaching experiment survey finds that there is a significant difference in the level of chemistry laboratory knowledge between the experimental and control groups,which is more productive for the students of medium academic level,and the experimental group improves significantly in the prediction and reasoning of experimental phenomena,reagents,devices conditional selection and purpose analysis,and the improvement of experimental scheme design,etc.Interviews are conducted to understand that students of different academic levels have a high degree of satisfaction with the review class.This indicates that the thematic teaching model based on model cognition to carry out senior laboratory review is effective and can improve students’ chemistry laboratory problem solving ability and interest in the review class,which provides new ideas for the development of laboratory review class. |
