Difficulties And Solutions: A Study On The Livelihood Security Of Returning Veterans With Illness

Among veterans,there is such a special group,namely returning veterans with illness,who also belong to one of the important recipients of special care.Compared with ordinary veterans,the needs of returning veterans with illness are different from those of ordinary veterans,and they have more special needs.As an important part of civil affairs,the Party and the state have always attached great importance to the preferential placement of veterans,which is a relatively traditional and political work developed by the military and the people in the process of continuous practice and reform.However,with continuous development and progress of the society,the military is also constantly reforming,and the needs and problems of veterans are constantly changing,so the traditional care and placement work may no longer be able to meet the current changing social needs.Be returned veterans as a special kind of group in our country’s entitled groups,they were sacrificing,serve the country,so the fall in life,but in social concern for their little the army,the accumulation of a variety of reasons,leads to being returned veterans this group more and more life safeguard problems need to be solved.At the same time,as a professional concerned about people and society,social work helps service objects to solve problems and prevent problems.In terms of the livelihood security of returning veterans with illness,we should think about and explore countermeasures and suggestions that social work can take in helping the livelihood security of returning veterans with illness.This paper mainly adopts literature research method,interview method and case analysis method to study and analyze the current difficulties of living security for returning veterans with illness in D City.The study found that the living security dilemma of returning veterans with illness in D city mainly includes three aspects: 1.The family economic level is low: 2.The maintenance cost of disease treatment is high;3.Employment difficulties caused by illness.Based on the above analysis and guided by the social support theory,the following suggestions are proposed: Improve the precision of the special care placement design for returning veterans with illness;To construct a multi-subject collaborative network of special care and placement for returning veterans with illness;Give full play to the active initiative of returning veterans with illness.
