Teachers’ educational concept guides the teaching practice and finally feeds back to the teaching quality, and the verbal and non-verbal teaching behavior of teachers in teaching activities is the most direct reflection of their educational concept.Scientific and good educational concepts can guide preschool teachers to pay maximum attention to the development needs of children in teaching activities,so as to comprehensively promote children’s physical and mental development. In children’s painting teaching activities, the verbal and non-verbal teaching behavior shown by teachers under the guidance of their own educational concepts are more directly related to children’s confidence and interest in artistic creation,as well as artistic expression. The purpose of this research is to explore preschool teachers’ educational concept of children’s painting collective activities in Yunnan Province, and analyze the teaching behavior of teachers in children’s painting collective activities, and then explore the relationship between teachers’ educational concept and teaching behavior.First, the researcher issued questionnaire to invite 185 preschool teachers from K city,Yunnan province to associate imagination to "the effective support of teachers in children’s painting teaching" with word association method, selected 30 high frequency association words, and from five aspects, the emotional support, skills support, material support,time-space support and environmental support of 30 high frequency association frequency words, combined with the interview,to learn the teachers’ specific attitude towards these five types of support.Secondly, using the observation method to observe the six preschool teachers’ actual teaching activities, and from the five aspects of support which include emotional support, skills support, material support,time-space support and environmental support to analyze their teaching behavior. And then, interviewed the six teachers one by one after the painting collective activities to explore the relationship between the actual teaching behavior and the educational concept of preschool teachers. The research result shows that teachers believe different types of support have different importance in children’s painting group activities and the importance degree of teachers’ "effective support from teachers in painting teaching activities" at the concept level is emotion,skills,materials,time-space,environment.The study also found that teachers attach much more importance to skills in the collective teaching of children’s painting than other support. The study also found that there is a unity and contradiction between the teaching behavior and educational concept of preschool teachers. The unity lies in the consistent of concept and behavior of educational value in the current activities, and its contradiction shows the contradiction between the concept and behavior, and the fundamental reason is that teachers haven’t established scientific and stable concept of children, education and evaluation, and the educational concept is hindered by many internal and external factors in the process of teaching practice, thus leading the teaching behavior at the operational level is still the externalization of the previous educational concept, teachers in painting teaching guidance, teaching and evaluation of children still centered on skills. To this end,the researcher put forward targeted suggestions for education administrative departments, kindergarten managements, kindergarten teachers and parents, aim to provide conditions for preschool teachers to establish and implement scientific and good educational concepts,so as to guide education and teaching practice and finally promote the development of children.
