The "Whole book reading" has officially appeared as a learning task group in the Compulsory Education Language Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition).However,the current reading situation of elementary school students is still not optimistic,and teachers do not pay attention to whole-book reading teaching,lack knowledge of wholebook reading teaching,and lack whole-book reading teaching strategies,resulting in whole-book reading teaching is still not widely promoted in elementary school classrooms.Therefore,in order to improve the effectiveness of whole-book reading teaching in elementary school and provide corresponding theoretical guidance for frontline language teachers in elementary school,this study composes the implementation process and teaching strategies of whole-book reading teaching in elementary school on the basis of in-depth generalization of current research results,and provides teaching cases for reference.This paper adopts the literature method and case study method to summarize the current research and implementation status of whole book reading and whole book reading teaching in elementary school,summarize the problems and methods,then refine the implementation process of whole book reading teaching,and then further clarify the specific strategies of "before reading-during reading-after reading" for whole book reading teaching in elementary school.Before teaching whole book reading,we select books of different levels from shallow to deep,research students’ interests to shape the reading atmosphere,and plan the reading focus around the teaching objectives;during whole book reading teaching,we strengthen the differentiated methodological guidance of different genres,focus on the full play of primary students’ subjectivity,and develop personalized reading teaching mode;after whole book reading teaching,we adopt diversified teaching evaluation methods,adopt diversified evaluation The main body of opinion,according to the students’ different students’ situation stratified evaluation.We choose different teaching strategies with emphasis on different stages of teaching.Finally,case studies are conducted based on specific teaching cases to verify the feasibility of the explicit whole-book reading teaching strategies in practice.
