| Due to the core barriers of social interaction,language development in children with autism lags behind that of typically developing children.Due to the limitations of geographical location,economic level and educational resources,most parents and teachers professional knowledge and rehabilitation skills related to language rehabilitation for children with autism.Therefore,it is particularly important to provide language education and rehabilitation training for parents and teachers of children with autism.This study will respectively explore the effectiveness of online training of parent-implemented and home-school cooperative intervention on verbal behavior learning of children with autism,and compare the effects of the two intervention modes.The main research contents and results are as follows:In Study 1,the pared-samples T test was used to examine changes of the parent group(N=20)and the control group(N=14)before and after intervention at children with autism(2-12 years old)and parents levels.Parents received 12-week verbal behavior education and rehabilitation training.The Parental Stress Index-short form(PSI-SF),Parenting Sense of Competence Scale(PSOC),Chinese-Family Empowerment Scale(C-FES),Chinese Verbal Behavior Assessment Scale for Children with Autism,and Child Behavior Checklist(CBCL)were respectively used to measure the scores of parents and children with autism on stress,parenting competence,empowerment,verbal behavior,social ability,and behavior problems.The results showed as follows:(1)Compared with the control group,the efficacy of parents after training decreased(p<0.05),the overall pressure decreased and the sense of empowerment increased,but there were no significant differences(p>0.05);(2)After intervention,the scores of basic and complex verbal behavior in the parent group were significantly higher than those in the control group(p<0.05),and the behavioral problems were reduced but there was no significant difference(p>0.05).In study 2,the pared-samples T test was used to examine the changes of the home-school cooperative group(N=8)and the control group(N=14)in children with autism(2-12 years old),parents,and teachers.The home-school cooperative group received 12 weeks of verbal behavior education and rehabilitation training.The measurement tools for children and parents were the same as in study 1.In addition,the study used the Teacher Efficacy Scale(TES)and Maslach Burnout Inventory(MBI)to measure the scores of teachers on teaching efficacy and job burnout.The results showed as follows:(1)The parents’ sense of empowerment in the home-school cooperation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(p<0.05),and the overall stress decreased but had no significant difference(p>0.05);(2)The score of low achievement in job burnout was significantly decreased in the home-school cooperation group after training(p<0.05),but there was no significant difference in teaching efficacy(p>0.05);(3)After intervention,the score of basic verbal behavior in the home-school cooperative group was significantly higher than that in the control group(p<0.05),and behavioral problems were reduced but there was no significant difference(p>0.05).In Study 3,the independent sample T test was used to compare the changes of the parent group(N=20)and the home-school cooperative group(N=8)in the children and parent levels,and the research tools were the same as in study 1.The results showed as follows:(1)the sense of empowerment of parents in the home-school cooperation group was significantly higher than that in the parent group(p<0.05);(2)The social ability of children in the parent group was significantly higher than that in the home-school cooperation group(p<0.05).The innovation of this study is to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of parent-implemented and home-school cooperative intervention mode in the verbal behavior rehabilitation of children with autism in China,and to compare the effectiveness of the two intervention modes.According to the results,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Both parent-implemented and home-school cooperative intervention can effectively improve the verbal behavior ability of children with autism;(2)Home-school cooperative intervention mode can improve the sense of empowerment of parents of autistic children and alleviate job burnout of teachers;(3)The home-school cooperative intervention mode is better than the parent-implemented intervention mode in improving the sense of empowerment of parents,and the parent-implemented intervention mode is better than the home-school cooperative intervention mode in the development of the social ability of children with autism. |
