| The TGFU method(hereafter referred to as TGFU)has been widely used as a popular teaching method in physical education classrooms in recent years.It mainly uses games to help students develop their skills and tactics and develop their athletic abilities.For a long time,traditional physical education has been technology-centered,paying less attention to the cultivation of students’ mental and moral character and psychological health,while the advantageous function of extended games lies in the cultivation of physical and mental health and sports character.With the new curriculum advocating core literacy-oriented teaching,can extended games and TGFU pedagogy be combined to take advantage of their respective strengths and better cultivate students’ healthy behaviors and physical character? This study combines the application of the collage teaching method and the expansion game in junior high school basketball teaching,aiming to investigate the feasibility and effectiveness of the application in junior high school basketball teaching.This paper uses the teaching experiment method,literature method,questionnaire method,and mathematical statistics method.First,a teaching experiment plan was developed based on the basic combing analysis of TGFU teaching method and expansion game.Second,80 students in a junior high school were selected as the experimental subjects and a 15-week teaching experiment based on the combination application of the collocation teaching method and expansion game was implemented to verify the combination application of the collocation teaching method and expansion game(hereinafter referred to as "TGFU + Extension Game")in junior high school basketball teaching,and make related suggestions.The results of the study are as follows:(1)Compared with the control group,there is no significant difference in the physical quality of the experimental class,which indicates that the effect of "TGFU+Expansion Game" on the physical quality of students does not show a more obvious promotion effect than the traditional teaching method.(2)There was a significant difference in the level of interest in physical education in the experimental class compared to the control group after the experiment."The application of TGFU+expansion game in basketball teaching helps to improve students’ interest in basketball learning,and the effect of TGFU+expansion game on cultivating students’ interest in basketball learning is better than that of traditional teaching methods.(3)There were significant differences in the scores of one-minute shooting,half-court dribble lay-up and full-court dribble before and after the experimental class.Both "TGFU+Expansion Game" and the traditional teaching method was able to effectively improve students’ technical ability,but "TGFU+Expansion Game" did not have any significant advantage.(4)There were significant differences in the dimensions of health behaviour between the experimental group and the control group before and after the experiment,and the TGFU+expansion game was more beneficial to the development of students’ health behaviour than the traditional teaching method.(5)There was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in all dimensions of physical moral character. |
