Algorithm recommendation is a personalized intelligent distribution system that digitizes users and accurately matches huge information with users.Due to the wellversed understanding of people’s psychological selection mechanism and strengthening users’ psychological dependence on algorithm platforms with capital and technical advantages,algorithm recommendation technology has profoundly subverted the entire social life and cultural ecology.General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed the need to "Use mainstream value guidance to control ’algorithms’ and comprehensively improve the ability to guide public opinion" The Cyberspace Administration of China and other departments have also issued relevant documents,emphasizing the need to continuously improve the ability to manage the value of cyberspace.Ideological security education for college students emphasizes that through mainstream ideological education and education on ideological security situations,college students can establish "four self-confidences" and improve ideological vigilance,discernment,and prevention.From the perspective of algorithm recommendation,college students’ ideological security education faces practical problems such as "information cocoon","post-truth" phenomenon,"fragmented" communication reduces educational control,dissolves value consensus,and dilutes educational discourse power,which is inseparable from the imbalance between instrumental rationality and value rational design of algorithm recommendation,ideological confrontation in Western countries,and the deep reasons for the lag in the cognition and technical application of algorithm recommendation theory in colleges and universities.Ideological security education for college students under algorithm recommendation is a system project involving the state,algorithm platform,netizens,colleges and universities,and college students themselves,which requires legal supervision from the state,the due responsibility of the algorithm platform to educate people,colleges and universities to establish "precise thinking" to build an education model,and strengthen college students-oriented.At present,the state has detected the impact of algorithm recommendation on the information security,psychological mechanism and value choice of netizens,and accelerated the supervision and governance of algorithm concerns,but the attention,reflection and response to the relationship between "algorithm recommendation" and "ideological security education" are insufficient.At the same time,the ideological security education of college students itself also has the problems of emphasizing theory over practice,flood irrigation over drip irrigation,and teaching materials over students.In the future,ideological security education needs to seek advantages and avoid disadvantages,exploring the digital transformation idea of ideological safety education method,educate the team to establish "precision thinking",build a personalized,differentiated,precise and intelligent education and teaching model,and deeply build intelligent ideology and politics.This paper provides a reference for exposing the practical dilemma of algorithm recommendation on college students’ ideological security education,improving the pertinence and effectiveness of college students’ ideological security education,and enhancing the control of mainstream values.
