| With the prevalence of social media platforms today,more and more users are willing to post images related to their lives on the Internet.For the masses,sharing is just a means of self-expression;Due to the influence and oppression of many social and cultural factors,disabled groups have long had low visibility in the offline real world.Therefore,the online world has become an important field for disabled groups to regain their visibility.Based on the perspective of media,this paper attaches importance to the role of media in the long-term shaping of society and culture,and regards the sharing of video logs by disabled bloggers on different video platforms as daily practice activities of collective self-performance on platforms.Four questions are discussed,such as how this paper focuses on it is possible for disabled groups to convey their own images through video logs? What strategies do disabled groups use to construct their own image? What is the feedback from disabled bloggers to tell their own stories and build their own image? What kind of hidden worries exist in the media landscape constructed by disabled bloggers.As the core concept and focus of this paper,disabled bloggers and their video logs are extracted from bilibili,Tik Tok and Kwai,which is clearly representative.The first chapter is the introduction,explaining the research background,research theory,core concepts,research significance and research methods.The second chapter discusses the changes of the concept of disability in the East and West from the perspective of the change of the appellation of "disability",and discusses the changes of the image of the disabled group.The third chapter analyzes the general situation of the vloggers in the sample from the perspectives of gender,disability type,city,age,occupation and influence.In addition,text analysis of sample videos was conducted from seven perspectives,including shooting scene,lens field,character,character action,theme expression,discourse emotion and audience address,so as to understand the strategies of disabled bloggers in constructing their images.The fourth chapter analyzes the text of video comments to understand the three purposes for audiences to send comments,and analyzes them according to the emotional orientation of audience comments,so as to form the cognition of different audiences’ concepts of disability.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,which reviews the previous text,summarizes the hidden concerns such as privacy protection difficulties and data inequality in the current performance practice of disabled bloggers,and puts forward requirements and prospects for future research. |
