| Swimming requires a high level of core strength.When swimming,the trunk muscles are the core of the human body,which is responsible for the task of stable power generation and power transmission.Therefore,the strength of the core strength has a decisive impact on the performance of swimming.The core strength exercise is to strengthen the strength of the training site by making the coordination between various parts of the body to keep the muscles of the training site stable.On this basis,core strength training can not only enhance explosive power,but also improve balance,to ensure the harmonious development of strength,speed and balance.Swimming is a sport without fixed support in the water.In the process of swimming,speed is a big factor,and the speed is determined by the athlete’s control over themselves,namely the athlete’s body balance ability.Underwater,athletes use constant adjustments to their body balance to achieve a stable center of gravity and achieve their goals.Therefore,the balance ability of athletes is very strong,so that their body posture can be maintained in a good balance position,so that their body can be kept in a good streamlined position,which can not only reduce the resistance,but also can give full play to the arm,leg stroke,push,play functions.And improve swimming performance.Therefore,core strength and balance are particularly important for competitive swimmers,which is the key to their success or failure.This paper uses the method of literature,expert interview,questionnaire,experiment and mathematical statistics to study 20 swimmers.The 20 swimmers are randomly divided into two groups: Experimental group(10 people),core strength training combined with balance ability training,control group(10 people)only core strength training,in the process of training,the two groups of athletes in the pre and post tests of core strength,balance ability and swimming performance test content were recorded,and these data were compared,finally get the following conclusions:(1)12 weeks of core strength training can effectively improve athletes’ performance in 100 m freestyle.Among them,the experimental group with core strength training and balance ability training has more significant effect on improving athletes’ swimming performance than the control group with core strength training.(2)Core training can enhance the strength and stability of the core area.After the end of the experiment,both sides of the body strength of the experimental group and the control group showed a trend of balanced development.In particular,the experimental group that implemented core strength training and balance ability training,compared with the control group that used core strength training,improved the balance ability of athletes more significantly.(3)Balance ability plays a mediating role between athletes’ core strength and swimming performance.Core strength can promote the improvement of swimmers’ performance.Taking balance ability training as the intermediate variable,balance ability training on the basis of core strength training can better promote the specificity of core strength,help to improve the dynamic balance and static balance of swimmers in the swimming process,and thus promote the improvement of swimming performance. |
