Under the background of the transformation of knowledge production model,interdisciplinary knowledge production and interdisciplinary talents training have increasingly become the focus of attention in the world.The field of education also calls for interdisciplinary talents to promote the solution of educational problems,the construction of teachers and the overall development of the field of education.In recent years,China has introduced a series of documents such as "Setting and Management Methods for Interdisciplinarity(Trial)" to promote the training of interdisciplinary talents.However,due to the late start of interdisciplinary studies and talents training and less attention to the training of interdisciplinary talents in the field of humanities and social sciences than the field of natural sciences,various systems and practices in the process of interdisciplinary talents training are imperfect and lack of experience.As a result,it faces some conceptual and practical obstacles in training interdisciplinary talents at graduate level in the field of education,such as attaching too much importance to the form in the goal level of talents training and neglecting the essence of talents training in the actual training process.As the country with the earliest interdisciplinary studies and talents training,the United States has relatively perfected the cultivation of interdisciplinary talents compared with other countries.And the Harvard Graduate School of Education(HGSE)has a history of nearly a century in the development of interdisciplinary studies and talents training,which is almost in sync with the rise of interdisciplinary studies in the United States.Up to now,most of the existing degree training programs of the Harvard Graduate School of Education are interdisciplinary,realizing the cross integration of pedagogy,psychology,sociology,cognitive science and other disciplines,and sending a large number of high-quality interdisciplinary students to the global education field.This study takes Niklas Luhmann’s social system theory and the transformed John Biggs’ 3P model under the system theory as the theoretical perspective and analysis framework,takes the Harvard Graduate School of Education as the research object to carry out a case study,and combines the literature method and interview method to explore the connotation of each subsystem and element in the training model of HGSE under the background of interdisciplinary and the relationship between the subsystems and between the elements and a complete construction of the interdisciplinary postgraduate talents training model and analysis of the advantages and limitations of the model as well as the interaction with the external environment.On this basis,benchmark the training of interdisciplinary postgraduate talents in education in my country,in order to put forward targeted suggestions.Finally,this study draws the following conclusions: First,HGSE leads talents cultivation with real and complex educational problems,and promotes interdisciplinary ability from mixing to integration in the process of problem solving.Second,the HGSE talents training model is from objectives,curriculum and teaching to evaluation,and the internal subsystems of each stage form dynamic connections in communication.Third,the talents training model of HGSE is shaped by the multi-subject forces of the government,society,and universities in the external environment.Based on the above conclusions,this study believes that our country can learn from the following three points to further promote the high-quality training of interdisciplinary graduate talents in education.First,driven by problem solving,focus on substance over form,and improve the interdisciplinary comprehensive ability of talents.Second,create a systematic and dynamic connection from training objectives,process to evaluation in the talents training model.Third,give full play to the power of the multiple subjects of the government,society and universities in the external environment,and encourage and support the cultivation of educational interdisciplinary talents.Based on the above,we finally hope to explore an effective training model of high-quality interdisciplinary graduate talents in the field of education with Chinese characteristics. |
