Education,to a certain extent,aims at shaping "natural person" into "social person".Senior high school is a very important stage in the process of students’ socialization,and it is a critical period for individuals to gradually grow into an independent member of society.However,many high school students and even college students are under or over socialized.Therefore,in this crucial stage of the formation of individual socialization,it is necessary to promote the realization of socialization of high school students.At the same time,there is an intrinsic coupling between the advocacy of quality education for students’ overall development and the promotion of students’ socialization.As the "second classroom" and "invisible classroom" of schools,association is also an important position for the development of quality education,and it plays an important role in the socialization of senior high school students.However,in practice,what role and influence does the association play in the process of high school students’ socialization? How can high school students realize socialization in association? Therefore,this study focuses on the following two questions: first,what role does the association play in the socialization of high school students;Second,what is the process and result of high school students’ socialization in the association?In order to deeply analyze the socialization function of association and the process and results of high school students’ socialization in association,this study selected XX Middle School in Sichuan Province as the research site,and used a combination of questionnaire survey,interview and participatory observation methods to obtain information.Finally,661 questionnaires were collected,and the participation status of high school students’ association and their socialization influence were preliminarily understood.Secondly,17 association students and 9instructors were interviewed to help describe the process and results of high school students’ socialization in association from a deeper level.At last,from May to July2022,participatory observation was carried out for more than one month to observe the status of association activities,members’ spiritual outlook,behavior characteristics and interaction forms in the real association field.The results show that the high school students who participate in association perform better in the socialization aspects of self-cognition,role cognition and social interaction than the high school students who do not participate in association.The further analysis shows that the socialization of high school students in the association occurs through both social indoctrination and individual internalization,and practice and interaction are the intermediary between social indoctrination and individual internalization.Specifically,the association environment provides a field for social indoctrination,while the association activities meet the needs of high school students for practice and interaction.High school students internalize the content of social indoctrination through subjective identification and imitation,role play and self-reinforcement.Then,based on the individual perspective of high school students,this study describes the whole process of high school students’ socialization in the association from three aspects: social cognition,social emotion and social behavior.It is found that high school students deepen their self-cognition,develop their collective cognition and sublimate their national cognition in the association.In terms of social emotion,the relaxed interactive environment of the association can arouse students’ emotional resonance and enhance their emotional experience.The role and voluntary practice can enhance high school students’ moral emotion.All kinds of activities can satisfy the aesthetic experience of high school students.In terms of social behavior,high school students develop communicative behaviors in the association interpersonal environment,constantly improve their communicative consciousness and communication ability.Institutional environment guides high school students to acquire normative behaviors,making their behaviors more in line with the standards expected by the society,and helps high school students develop from "natural person" to "social person".Although the association has a relatively comprehensive socialization influence on high school students,it is weakened by various factors,including the unsound development of the association,the weak position under the multi-angle and the role conflict of high school students.In order to truly realize the role of association in promoting the socialization of high school students,we should deepen the identity of the meaning of the socialized function of association,strengthen the expression of the functions of association,seek support from various forces,and finally move towards the development of association that promote the socialization of high school students. |
