Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core to push socialism with Chinese characteristics into a new era,the teaching of high school politics should shoulder the new tasks entrusted by the new era.It should not stop at the teaching of textbook texts,but also fully explore the course resources closely related to students’ life and the needs of The Times.As the source of modern revolution,the red cultural resources in Guangzhou have the characteristics of The Times and Lingnan culture,and the types are rich and diverse.If the resources can be used in the teaching of high school politics,the teaching contents can be more intimate,the flavor of The Times and persuasiveness,the teaching methods can be more flexible and diversified,and the goals of high school politics curriculum can be promoted.And to meet the diverse growth needs of students.Therefore,as an excellent curriculum resource,Guangzhou red cultural resources should be developed and utilized,so as to promote the teaching of high school politics to better conform to the development trend of The Times.In order to better play the value of development and utilization of Guangzhou red cultural resources in high school political teaching,the author starts from the logical system of "why to develop and utilize--who to develop and utilize--what to develop and utilize--how to develop and utilize",explores the appropriate state of development and utilization of Guangzhou red cultural resources in high school political teaching,and then compares the survey results.It is found that the existing problems are mainly insufficient development and utilization of red cultural resources in Guangzhou,low participation of students,unreasonable content allocation,and single form of development and utilization.After analysis,it is found that the main reasons are lagging teaching concepts,insufficient support from external environment,students not playing the main role,and insufficient professional quality of teachers.In view of the current situation and problems,the author puts forward corresponding countermeasures,mainly from four aspects: one is to update the ideology,including innovating the concept of classroom resources,improving the cognition of the teaching value of Guangzhou red cultural resources;The second is to optimize environmental conditions,including rational use of social resources,building network platforms and creating campus red atmosphere;The third is to stimulate students’ subjectivity,including cultivating students’ interest,promoting students’ enthusiasm to participate in class,encouraging students to practice after class;Fourth,improve teachers’ professional quality,including improving teachers’ knowledge reserve of Guangzhou red culture,and strengthening teachers’ ability to select,transform and utilize Guangzhou red culture resources.Therefore,only through the development and utilization of Guangzhou red cultural resources in high school political teaching can the traditional one-way teaching and receiving be challenged conceptually,the single teaching environment be broken spatially,the training mode of one thousand people be changed practically,and the goal of curriculum education be truly realized.
