Classical Chinese contains rich spiritual thoughts and cultural connotations,which play an important role in promoting students to inherit and promote excellent traditional Chinese culture,and establishing cultural confidence.Therefore,teaching classical Chinese can and should take on the task of cultural education and cultivate students’ "cultural confidence" literacy.However,the current educational process of cultural education is not yet clear,leading to the one-sided focus on the cultural attributes of selected texts in classical Chinese teaching,neglecting the cultural needs of the subject,resulting in the inability to achieve "cultural values" and the difficulty in implementing cultural education.Through the investigation and analysis of students’ learning of Classical Chinese by using the questionnaire survey method,it is found that the current situation of cultural education in Classical Chinese teaching is not optimistic,and there are problems such as the ineffective implementation of the goal of education,the one-sided development of cultural content,and the single way.In response to the above issues,literature research and case analysis methods are used to conduct research.Starting from the perspective of cultural values,based on the process of realizing cultural education,and utilizing the generation mechanism of cultural values,it is concluded that cultural education is a process of mutual construction and interaction between objects and subjects.Then,combined with the law of individual psychological development of "knowledge,emotion,will and action",the cultivation process of cultural self-confidence is obtained: through the subjectification of objects and the objectification of subjects,the initial cultural cognition is transformed into cultural practice through cultural identity,and cultural cognition is improved and cultural identity is deepened in cultural practice.This reveals three paths for classical Chinese teaching to cultivate students’ "cultural self-confidence" : cultural cognition,cultural identity,and cultural practice.Finally,starting from these three paths,according to the theories of Chinese classical hermeneutics,western hermeneutics,reception aesthetics and other theories,combined with the teaching examples of famous teachers,the corresponding strategies for realizing cultural education are proposed respectively: understanding cultural knowledge based on historical context,using exegetical methods to understand cultural attributes,breaking the horizon of expectations and understanding cultural spirit;Avoid "misreading" classics and "basic understanding" texts,carry out experiential teaching,and carry out personality cultivation education around the theme;Correctly handle cultural value conflicts,identify contemporary cultural values,and carry out comprehensive learning activities.In order to verify its feasibility,a lesson plan design is presented using the example of "Love Lotus Saying" to explore the classroom teaching practice of cultural education in classical Chinese teaching,in order to provide some reference for frontline teaching.
