Carrying forward the spirit of historical initiative is an important assertion put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping that shines the light of Marxist dialectics,and it is also a basic requirement for college students in the new era.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that education should "cultivate new people with a sense of history and a sense of responsibility,and provide strong talent support for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation ".The "sense of history" mentioned here includes the cultivation of college students’ historical initiative.However,the world today is experiencing a major change that has not been seen in a century.The ideological security of colleges and universities in China is also facing this severe challenge.There are also some unhealthy phenomena among some college students,such as deviation of historical cognition,dilution of historical mission and weakening of active behavior.It is urgent to take effective measures to cultivate college students’ historical initiative,help them establish a correct view of history,forge historical initiative in recognizing historical orientation,and then devote themselves to the historical cause of national rejuvenation in a more active state.Based on the above considerations,this paper takes "the research on the cultivation of college students’ historical initiative spirit in the new era" as the theme,and takes the college students of ten universities in Guangzhou University City as an example to deeply analyze the reality of the cultivation of college students’ historical initiative spirit,so as to explore the targeted and effective cultivation path.This paper is divided into the following five parts to carry out specific research content :The first part mainly puts forward the background and research significance of the thesis,expounds the research status,research ideas and research methods,research innovation and shortcomings of domestic and foreign academic circles.The second part mainly summarizes the theoretical basis of cultivating the historical initiative spirit of college students in the new era.Firstly,the essence of historical initiative spirit is explained from the dialectical perspective of history and reality,initiative and passivity,spirit and material.Secondly,it clarifies the era context of historical initiative spirit from the scientific answer to the "Four Questions" of the Communist Party of China in the new era;finally,in tracing back to the source,Marx and Engels’ exposition on human historical initiative,the experience summary of the Chinese Communists’ development of historical initiative spirit,and the historical initiative spirit gene in Chinese excellent traditional culture are sorted out.The third part mainly discusses the objectives,principles and characteristics of the cultivation of college students’ historical initiative spirit in the new era.First of all,it draws on the theory of human spirit generation from psychology,follows the track of "cognitive construction--emotion cultivation--will cultivation--behavior generation",and makes it clear that the goal of cultivation is to deepen college students’ historical cognition,cultivate their historical self-confidence,strengthen their historical consciousness,and forge their historical responsibility.Secondly,under the guidance of this goal,the cultivation process should follow the basic principles of the unification of the sense of history and the sense of The Times,the unification of subjectivity and dominance,and the unification of theoretical indoctrination and practice.Then,it highlights the unique meaning of the cultivation of historical initiative spirit with three characteristics: the history of the cultivation content,the initiative of the cultivation subject and the innovation of the cultivation way.Finally,it points out the value implication of cultivation from four aspects: nation,state,society and individual.The fourth part,through questionnaire and interview,empirically investigates the historical initiative spirit and its cultivation of students in ten universities in Guangzhou University Town.It is found that the current situation of college students’ historical initiative spirit presents a good trend.Most students recognize the historical initiative spirit in the new era and are willing to actively practice it.But at the same time,it is also found that some college students lack of historical initiative spirit,weak effect of cultivation discourse,cultivation methods are relatively simple problems,and the main reasons for these problems are some college students’ weak historical concept,discourse political and life dual separation,some colleges and universities cultivation mechanism is not sound,the impact of diverse social trends of thought.The fifth part,based on the analysis of the current situation,mainly puts forward the basic way of cultivation from three levels.First,at the macro level,it optimizes the nurturing environment and fully plays the role of environmental dense by creating social ecology,constructing concrete landscape and constructing discourse communication positions.Second,at the meso level,establish and improve the multi-agent collaborative linkage mechanism of party committee departments,communist youth league organizations,teachers and college students in colleges and universities to form a joint force for cultivation.Third,at the micro level,it adopts the cultivation methods and methods to keep pace with The Times,that is,to create an integrated and thematic teaching mode,a situational experience method based on meta-universe technology to create ’ immersive ’ scenes,and a practical exercise method based on labor education,so as to continuously improve the attraction of historical initiative spirit cultivation.
