The Evolution Of Population-Economy Center Of Gravity And The Coupling Coordination Of Population-Economy In Sichuan Province

The coordinated development of population and economy is an important theme for the sustainable development of a country or region.Sichuan Province is located in the southwest of my country,and its population and economic problems are relatively prominent.At the same time,there are large gaps in population structure and economic development between cities(prefectures).In view of this,this paper studies the coordinated development of population and economy in Sichuan Province.The research period of this paper is from 2008 to 2020,and on the basis of combing the development status of population and economy in Sichuan Province,the gravity center model and the gravity center coupling analysis model are used to analyze the temporal and spatial evolution of the population gravity center and the economic gravity center in Sichuan Province and the coupling between the two,in order to grasp the change characteristics and relationship between the population and economy of Sichuan Province as a whole.And use geographic detectors to explore the influencing factors of the spatial distribution of population and economy in Sichuan Province.Then,the population and economic evaluation index system of Sichuan Province is further constructed,and the comprehensive evaluation index and population and economic coupling coordination degree of 21 cities(prefectures)in Sichuan Province are obtained by linear weighted summation method and coupling coordination degree model,and the population and economy change characteristics and the relationship between the two are obtained,and the influencing factors of population-economy coupling and coordinated spatial distribution in Sichuan Province are explored by using geographic detectors.Finally,it proposes countermeasures for the coordinated development of population and economy in Sichuan Province.The main conclusions of the article are as follows:(1)Sichuan Province’s permanent population increases at the end of the year,the natural population growth rate declines,the urbanization rate increases,and the population employment structure changes from the "one-three-two" type to the "threeone-two" type.The total economic volume has increased,the income of urban and rural residents has increased,the ratio of urban and rural income has decreased,and the industrial structure has changed from the "two-three-one" type to the "three-two-one" type.(2)The population gravity center of Sichuan Province is located on the east side of the geometric center and moves from east to west year by year,and the economic gravity center is located on the east side of the geometric center and generally moves from south to north.The coupling between the two gravity centers in Sichuan Province is weak,and there is a spatial imbalance between population and economic development.Employment,market,industry,science and technology,and opening to the outside world are important factors affecting the spatial distribution of population and economy in Sichuan Province.(3)Regarding the population comprehensive evaluation index,the values of 9cities(prefectures)in Sichuan Province show a fluctuating upward trend,and the values of 12 cities(prefectures)show a fluctuating downward trend;as for the economic comprehensive evaluation index,the values of 13 cities(prefectures)show a fluctuating upward trend,and the values of 8 cities(prefectures)showed a fluctuating downward trend;as for the population-economic comprehensive evaluation index,the values of11 cities(prefectures)show a fluctuating rising trend,and the values of 10 cities(prefectures)fluctuate declining trend.The comprehensive evaluation index of each system in 21 cities(prefectures)in Sichuan Province presents an unbalanced development trend in space.(4)Regarding the degree of population-economic coupling coordination,the values of 12 cities(prefectures)in Sichuan Province show a fluctuating upward trend,and the values of 9 cities(prefectures)show a fluctuating downward trend.In 2008 and2012,the order of population-economic coupling coordination from high to low is:Chengdu Plain,Panxi,South Sichuan,Northeast Sichuan,and Northwest Sichuan.In2016 and 2020,the order of population-economic coupling coordination from high to low is: Chengdu Plain,South Sichuan,Panxi,Northeast Sichuan,and Northwest Sichuan.Opening to the outside world,industry,and market are important factors affecting the spatial distribution of population-economic coupling coordination in Sichuan Province.In order to promote the coordinated development of population and economy in Sichuan Province,some countermeasures are put forward.
