Psychological well-being refers to the ideal state of mental function and experience that an individual is fully engaged in the activities that best match the individual.This study introduced two variables,perceived social support and filial responsibility,to investigate the characteristics of current junior high school students’ psychological well-being,explore the relationship between perceived social support and psychological well-being and the mediating role of filial responsibility,and adopt group counseling to intervene junior high school students’ filial responsibility.In study 1,questionnaire survey was used to study the relationship between junior high school students’ perceived social support,filial responsibility and psychological well-being.Social support scale,filial responsibility scale and psychological well-being scale were used to conduct questionnaire survey on 1100 junior high school students in Fujian Province.There were 994 effective questionnaires,with an effective rate of 90.4%.The following results were finally obtained:1.The perceived social support and filial responsibility of junior middle school students are mostly above the average level,and the psychological well-being is at the average level.The variables are not significant differences in the birthplace and paternal education level.There are significant differences in the perceived social support in class,and the filial responsibility in class and maternal education level.There are significant differences in psychological well-being in gender and maternal education level.2.There is a significant positive correlation between perceived social support,filial responsibility and psychological well-being of junior high school students;3.Junior high school students’ s filial responsibility play an intermediary role in the relationship between perceived social support and psychological well-being;In the second study,2(pre-test,post-test)x2(experimental group,control group)mixed design was adopted.Some students in the experimental group were interviewed after intervention,and parents of students in the experimental group and control group were surveyed by questionnaire before and after intervention.Taking 34 junior high school students in Longyan City of Fujian Province as the research object,the subjects were divided into experimental group and control group.The experimental group received more than one month of intervention in the form of group counseling,while the control group did not apply any intervention measures.After the intervention,the two groups were tested by the filial responsibility Scale and the psychological Well-being Scale(using the same measurement tool as Study 1).Finally,the following conclusions are drawn: group counseling has a good effect on improving the filial responsibility and psychological well-being of junior middle school students. |
