Abstract/Summary:
The "Compulsory Education Curriculum Plan(2022 Edition)" clearly requires that "compulsory education courses should strengthen curriculum integration,pay attention to association,and strengthen the connection between curriculum content and students’ experience and social life." "As students in ethnic minority areas,ethnic minority culture is closely related to student life,integrating ethnic minority culture into the school curriculum,strengthening the connection between course content and students’ cultural background,can not only enrich students’ life and learning experience,promote students’ all-round development,realize cultural inheritance and innovation,promote the development of school characteristics,but also cultivate students’ sense of identity and self-confidence in their own ethnic culture,and forge a strong sense of Chinese national community." Therefore,in school education in ethnic minority areas,it is worth exploring to integrate the beneficial resources of ethnic minority culture into the school curriculum to achieve cultural inheritance innovation and better development of students.The study selected Primary School A in Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County as the research object,and clarified the actual situation of integrating the Tujia culture of Primary School A into the school curriculum through questionnaires,interviews,observations and other methods.Based on the investigation of the actual situation,the shortcomings in the practice process are analyzed and corresponding optimization strategies are proposed,so as to provide thinking and reference for the specific operational level of the integration of ethnic minority culture into the school curriculum.The research focuses on the investigation and analysis of the value recognition,content selection and implementation methods of Tujia culture into the school curriculum of Primary School.The study found that in terms of value identity,students and teachers have an attitude towards the value of integrating Tujia culture into the school curriculum,while some parents have a negative attitude towards this.In terms of content,Primary School A mainly selects Tujia life culture,social culture,literary and artistic culture and traditional sports culture to integrate into the school curriculum.At the level of implementation methods,it mainly includes the establishment of school-based curriculum,the penetration of subject courses,the development of club activity courses,the recess activities of ethnic culture,and the construction of potential courses.Primary school A has the following problems in the integration of Tujia culture into the school curriculum: teachers’ value awareness and professional qualities need to be improved,the Tujia culture content selection mechanism is not reasonable enough,the curriculum implementation methods are not diversified enough,and the integration of Tujia culture into the school curriculum is insufficient.In view of the existing problems,the following optimization strategies are proposed: strengthen teacher training,improve their value awareness and professional quality,optimize the selection mechanism of Tujia cultural resources,enrich the implementation mode of integrating Tujia culture into school curriculum,and improve the guarantee mechanism for integrating Tujia culture into school curriculum.
