The physical health of adolescents is related to the future development of the country’s productivity,creativity,and competitiveness.In China,data on the physical health of adolescents is usually obtained from physical fitness testing activities organized by schools.However,traditional physical fitness testing methods have the following shortcomings: firstly,they rely on manual methods,which are inefficient and inaccurate.Secondly,traditional physical fitness testing lacks warning methods for physiological abnormalities.In addition,there is a large difference in data storage in traditional physical fitness testing,making it difficult to collect and analyze a large amount of physical fitness test results.Currently,the technical means used to solve these problems can only achieve a single function and cannot build a complete testing,warning,and data management process.To solve the above shortcomings,this article studies and designs a student physical health monitoring and management platform.The platform integrates functions such as data information management,physical fitness testing management,and physical fitness risk warning,realizing the informationization of the entire physical fitness testing process.This platform can be divided into the following two modules:1.Physical Fitness Test Managing Software System: This article designed a set of physical fitness test managing software system to achieve platform information management,data storage,and other functions.This system can be accessed through various common devices and supports operations such as querying and managing basic information of physical fitness testing,analyzing and exporting physical fitness test result data.2.Physical Fitness Testing Hardware System: This article designed a set of physical fitness testing hardware system to achieve the platform’s physical fitness testing operation management and risk warning functions.This hardware system is mainly consisted of the main equipment and student wristbands.The main equipment provides functions such as physical fitness testing operation management and data transmission,while the student wristbands provide functions such as student identity binding,physical fitness data transmission,and exercise risk monitoring.During the research process of the platform,this article also conducted the following work:1.Research,experimentation,and application of face recognition in embedded device: In order to achieve the platform’s face detection and recognition function,and improve the efficiency and accuracy of physical fitness testing,this article conducted experiments on several algorithms that may be applicable to embedded systems.At last,the face detection and recognition algorithm used in the system was determined,and relevant programs were written.2.Establishment of designing standards for physical fitness testing equipment: In order to make this platform more scalable,this article proposed a designing standard for physical fitness testing equipment.Based on RFID technology,physical fitness testing equipment designed based on this standard can transmit physical fitness data to the platform.Through the research on the above content,this article has completed the design and construction of the entire student physical fitness monitoring and management platform.After testing,all functions of the platform operate normally and thus have achieved the original design goals.This platform has high efficiency and data consistency,and has practical significance in promoting the development of physical fitness testing technology and safeguarding the physical health of adolescents.
