A Study On The Teaching Practice Of Lu Xun’s Works In Secondary Schools

With the development of the times,the examination-oriented education has greatly deprived the teenagers of the opportunities to think independently,and yet the young should be encouraged to face their inner world and question and perform creative work.In Mr.Qian Liqun’s words,thanks to Lu Xun,they are able to face their hearts directly,even though it is painful and embarrassing.Considering from the perspective of Chinese education and researches,Qian Liqun determined to select and bring Lu Xun’s works into the high school classroom.He set up an optional course of Lu Xun’s works,aiming to allow teachers and students to "study Lu Xun’s works" together,so as to solve those difficulties at the beginning of the introduction of Lu Xun’s works.For most teachers,Qian Liqun’s creative initiative is worth learning.We need to acknowledge that there are well-known teachers standing at the forefront of Chinese education as well,who have shown the teaching strategies of Lu Xun’s works.During the teaching of the Confucius,Han Jun broke the traditional teaching method and tried to integrate the humanistic spirit into Lu Xun’s works,revealing the true and profound meaning of them,which brings the teaching of Lu Xun’s works from " the outside" to " the inside," and makes a difference.Moreover,it stimulates most front-line language teachers to teach Lu Xun’s works to some extent.This paper is composed of 5 chapters:Starting from the key competencies,the first chapter analyzes the characteristics and the value of Lu Xun’s works adopted in the current textbook in four aspects: namely the language expressiveness,the creative thinking and the profound aesthetic quality and the rational cultural outlook.By doing so,it shows the importance of Lu Xun’s works to contemporary middle school students,and it is also imperative for teachers to re-construct the arrangement of Lu Xun’s works and enhance teaching methods.Taking the Tian Jiabing Middle School in Chongqing as a case,the second chapter mainly adopts the questionnaire survey method to collect parts of students’ learning motivation against Lu Xun’s works,and analyzes the corresponding reasons.Meanwhile,the author collects the students’ views on the teaching of Lu Xun’s works and analyzes the feasibility of these standpoints in the teaching practice of teachers.At the same time,the author analyzes the primary teaching contents,the main teaching methods,and teaching effects of Lu Xun’s works,then summarizes the difficulties among the teaching.Base on the practices of optional course of Lu Xun’s works offered by Qian Liqun and the practices of Han Jun’s class exploration,the third chapter mainly analyzes the practical ways of Lu Xun’s works teaching in the middle schools.Firstly,Qian Liqun set up the optional course of "Selected Editing of Lu Xun’s Works" in the attached middle school of Nanjing Normal University in 2004 as the object of analysis and research,and in 2005,he set up an optional course named "Selected Reading of Lu Xun’s Works" in the attached middle school of Peking University and Beijing Normal University Experimental Middle School respectively as the research object and discussed the course structure and teaching design of the courses,and briefly analyzed how Qian Liqun carried out the Chinese education practice of Lu Xun’s works.In the meantime,through analyzing some teaching examples of Han Jun’s teaching "Kong Yi-ji," the author summarized the classroom exploration practices of Lu Xun’s works teaching in Han Jun Middle School,summarized the teaching idea of Lu Xun’s works teaching in Han Jun Middle School,and dissected how Han Jun solved the specific "difficult to learn and teach" in Lu Xun’s works from the points of front-line teachers in Chinese,combining with the situation and teaching status of Lu Xun’s works selected into Chinese textbooks in Middle School.The fourth chapter is mainly based on the above dilemma analysis and the method of Lu Xun’s works teaching practice explored by Qian Liqun and Han Jun.Through understanding the requirements of the curriculum standard,the specific requirements of the unit and the analysis of the learning situation,the teaching content is established,and the teaching design of Lu Xun’s novel Blessing is attempted.The fifth chapter mainly talks about the teaching practices of Lu Xun’s works in middle school to bring some enlightenment to the current Chinese teaching.Combined with the practice analysis of Lu Xun’s works teaching in Qian Liqun Middle School and Han Jun Xun’s works teaching concept analysis,this paper discusses the teaching practice of Qian Liqun and Han Jun’s works teaching practice,as well as the author’s teaching design attempt of Lu Xun’s works,and briefly discusses several enlightenments to the current Chinese teaching.
