| With the continuous development of China’s accommodation industry,the demand for highly qualified professionals will continue to increase.As the cradle of training front-line skilled talents,secondary vocational schools need to timely adjust the talent training program and carry out curriculum and teaching reform according to the development of the industry.This study starts from practical problems such as poor practical training of front office service skills for secondary vocational school students majoring in high stars hotel operation and management,guided by the “Position-Courses-Competitions-Certificates”Comprehensive Education;it takes “Front office Service and Management” — the core course of high stars hotel operation and management major in secondary vocational school— as an example,around the improvement of students’ job ability,integrates the vocational ability requirements of specific positions of the front office,the examination content and standards of vocational skill competition,and the examination key points and standards of vocational skill level certificate,Optimizes the course content,and pays attention to students’ skill training,to improve the teaching quality of the high stars hotel operation and management major in secondary vocational school and the employability of secondary vocational students.Lay a solid foundation for secondary vocational students to further study in higher vocational colleges or enter the hotel industry.The main research methods are literature research,observation,interview and questionnaire.And the research status of“Position-Courses-Competitions-Certificates” Comprehensive Education and curriculum reform of hotel specialty is analyzed by reviewing the relevant literature,core concepts are defined,theoretical basis is established,and through research,The “Position”,“Course”,“Competition” and “Certificate” related to “Front Office Service and Management” in secondary vocational schools are analyzed in depth,On this basis,guided by humanistic educational thought,pragmatic educational thought,constructivism learning theory and multiple intelligences theory,and in line with the principles of professionalism,scientificity and feasibility,the course of "Front Office Service and Management" in secondary vocational schools is optimized based on “Position-Courses-CompetitionsCertificates” Comprehensive Education:Firstly,through the enterprise practice research to analyze the post group of the front office department of high-star hotels,to determine the suitable post types and typical work tasks for secondary vocational students;then,the hotel(front office)reception items of vocational skills competition and the relevant vocational skill level certificate are analyzed,and the key points consistent with the needs of the post are extracted,and the common elements of the three aspects of the “Position-Competitions-Certificates” are integrated,so as to provide ideas and directions for subsequent course optimization.Secondly,through the formulation of curriculum teaching standards,the reconstruction of curriculum teaching content,the teaching implementation program design and the formulation of curriculum evaluation system,optimize the “Front Office Service and Management” course in secondary vocational school from the four aspects of curriculum standards,curriculum content,teaching process and teaching evaluation.Finally,the optimized “Front Office Service and Management” course is applied to the case school for teaching experiment,and the effectiveness of the curriculum optimization is tested by analyzing the obtained data.The results show that the “Front Office Service and Management” course after the optimization has relatively good teaching effect,which can better stimulate students’ interest in learning,enhance students’ major confidence,and consolidate students’ professional foundation and improve their professional ability,so that students can learn something,and the curriculum optimizing effect is overall effective,which can realize the “Position-Courses-CompetitionsCertificates” Comprehensive Education at the micro level of course teaching,and also provide reference for the optimization by integrated of “Position-Courses-CompetitionsCertificates” in other courses. |
