| Reform of the professional master’s degree graduate education system has a direct impact on the quality and development of graduate education in China.It is a controversial topic,and the vigorous development of professional master’s degree graduate education is a strategic focus of China’s degree and graduate education reform and development.The reform of the graduate education system and the improvement of the quality of professional master’s degree graduate education are closely related.This research uses literature review,interview survey,and text analysis to explore the evolution of the professional master’s degree graduate education system in China,analyze the current situation of the reform of the full-time professional master’s degree graduate education system,and investigate and analyze the impact and feedback of the reform.Based on this,the problems existing in the professional master’s degree graduate education system are summarized,and suggestions for improving the system are proposed to promote the development of professional master’s degree graduate education in China.Analysis shows that the reform of the full-time professional master’s degree graduate education system in China has a complex reform background.As the professional master’s degree graduate education develops in different stages,the reform of the education system will also show different characteristics.The reform of the education system is not only a practical game but also a theoretical debate about graduate education.The reform of the professional master’s degree graduate education system in China starts from the logical starting point of economic and social development,aiming at improving the quality of education,continuously expanding the autonomy of schools,and gradually forming its unique characteristics and features.It is found that the types of full-time professional master’s degree graduate education systems in Chinese universities are becoming more diversified,leading to long-term,short-term,and flexible systems that match different training modes.The general trend of the changes in the education system reform is "long-short-long." In the process of the reform of the professional master’s degree graduate education system in China,there are deep-seated problems,such as the lack of a unified reform consensus,convergence of different degree types and training modes,solidification of the classification development of professional and academic master’s degrees,uneven allocation of differentiated resource allocation in education system reform,and neglect of a dynamic quality view balance.To improve the scientific and rational reform of the education system,it is necessary to grasp the following four principles: consolidate the consensus of reform,enhance the differentiation,optimize the reform ecology,and update the quality concept.We need to adjust and improve various aspects related to the full-time professional master’s degree graduate education system from courses and teaching,processes and links,resources and teams,and quality and guarantee,and work together in all aspects to break down the barriers that hinder the effectiveness of the education system reform,in order to optimize the system,improve the training quality,and promote the development of professional master’s degree graduate education. |
