Research objective:This study aims to explore a more effective teaching and training program to improve students’1000-meter running.It compares the effect of70%-75%VO2max training intensity program and THR training intensity program on1000-meter running training of male students in colleges and universities.It attempts to improve the physique of students and reach the national physical standards under the guidance of scientific methods.Research methods:In this study,literature,experiment and mathematical statistics are used to compare the practical effects of two teaching and training programs.The group with 70%-75%VO2max training intensity is group A,and the group with THR training intensity is group B.Research results:The study is supported by Duncan Mac Dougall,in the book,The Physiological Basis of High-level Sports Training translated by Professor Yu Liang from Beijing Sport University,which concludes that continuous training of 70%-75%VO2max intensity is the most effective way to cause changes in central adaptation.It is also supported by Yang Jingyi and Xu Junhua,in the book,Exercise Prescription,which concludes that THR is the heart rate that cardiopulmonary endurance exercisers should reach and maintain during exercise.Based on the above theories,two teaching and training programs,which control exercise intensity,are designed for male students in colleges and universities.The teaching and training experiments are also carried out.The results show that there exists highly significant difference in F.C.,basal heart rate and the 1000-meter running performance before and after the experiment in group A.There also exists significant difference in heart rate recovery after the 1000-meter running in this group.As for group B,there exists striking difference in F.C.,basal heart rate,1000-meter running performance and heart rate recovery after 1000-meter running before and after the experiment.After the experiment,the 1000-meter running performance and F.C.value of group B are better than those of group A,which shows significant difference.The basal heart rate and the recovery value of heart rate after1000-meter running in these two groups are nearly the same.Research conclusion:The 70%-75%VO2max training intensity for 10 weeks can promote the subjects’central adaptation and improve their cardiopulmonary endurance function index significantly.The endurance training combined with scientific strength training can improve the subjects’1000-meter running performance.Training with THR training intensity for 10 weeks effectively improve the level of circulation and respiratory system of the subjects.This strength endurance exercise combined with reasonable strength training intervention can improve the 1000-meter running performance of the subjects;70%-75%VO2max intensity and THR intensity training program can promote the central adaptation of subjects in group A and the benign development of circulatory respiratory system in group B.The effect is basically the same except for differences in F.C.values;the 70%-75%VO2max training intensity is only applicable to groups with F.C.values above 10METs,and the THR training intensity is applicable to all F.C.value range population;the THR intensity training program works much better than the 70%-75%VO2max intensity training program in improving the subjects’1000-meter running performance. |
