| On May 15,2006,the Ministry of Education,the Ministry of Finance,the Ministry of Human Resources and the State Commission Office of Public Sectors Reform jointly issued a notice,deciding to implement the special post plan for teachers in rural schools,called Special Post Plan.Since the implementation of the Special Post Plan,it has been continuously injecting the fresh blood into the teachers in rural middle schools,supplying the teachers for rural middle schools,optimizing the structure of the teachers in rural middle schools,and playing an irreplaceable role in promoting the development of the rural education and the rural revitalization.At present,the pre-service training for special post teachers in rural middle schools is widely carried out,but the post-service continuing education is not valued,which restricts the professional development of special post teachers in rural middle schools and the improvement of the overall quality of the rural teachers,and actually restricts the development of the rural education.Studying on the continuing education for special post teachers in rural middle schools can help to deepen the understanding of the continuing education for special post teachers in rural middle schools,explore to build a more scientific and standardized continuing education strategy for special post teachers in rural middle schools,strengthen the continuing education effect for special post teachers,promote the development of the rural education comprehensively,speed up the construction of a learning-mode society and learning-mode China.Based on the in-depth study of national policies and the thinking on practical needs,this paper takes special post teachers at work in rural middle schools from P County in Guangxi as an example,uses the method of literature research,questionnaire survey and interview survey,with the breakthrough point from the personal vision of special post teachers,further investigates to master the status quo of the continuing education for special post teachers in rural middle schools.The research finds that there are four problems of the continuing education for special post teachers in rural middle schools: the continuing education system of special post teachers in rural middle schools is not perfect,the administrative department in charge of education less scientifically coordinate the continuing education for special post teachers,the rural schools less organize and manage the continuing education for special post teachers,and the special post teachers lack the strong self-awareness of continuing education.Tracing back to the source,the causes of the problems may be: insufficient guarantee of continuing education system for special post teachers,insufficient level of the top-level of continuing education designed by the administrative department in charge of education,lack of scientific of continuing education in rural schools,and lack of reasonable autonomy of continuing education for special post teachers.Accordingly,four strategies are proposed to optimize the continuing education for special post teachers in rural middle schools: Scientifically optimize and integrate,consolidate the guarantee of continuing education system for teachers;Playing the leading effect,improve the top design of the administrative department in charge of education;Enhancing the hematopoiesis,activate the scientific of continuing education for special post teachers in rural middle schools;Adhering to the people-oriented,stimulate the autonomy of continuing education for special post teachers.The continuing education for special post teachers in rural middle schools is significant and effluent,the special post teachers,rural middle schools,the administrative department in charge of education,local universities,organization and implementation units,etc.should strengthen the attention of continuing education,optimize and improve the continuing education for special post teachers in rural middle schools,devoting to improve the professional ability of special post teachers in rural middle schools and the quality of the rural education,serve the construction of national high quality education system. |
