Abstract/Summary:
Early childhood teacher quality assurance systems are critical to improving the quality of early childhood teachers and ensuring that young children receive high-quality education and development.Countries around the world have conducted extensive research,formulated a series of policies,and organized various programs on how to improve the quality of teachers in their countries,and have gradually developed teacher quality assurance systems based on their national conditions and characteristics.Finland,one of the countries with the highest quality of education,has developed a system to improve the quality of early childhood teachers by ensuring basic conditions,ensuring professional competence,building a professional development system,and providing career development services.Finland,as one of the countries with the highest quality of education,has formed a relatively complete quality assurance system for early childhood teachers,which has important inspiration for promoting the development of the quality assurance system for early childhood teachers in China.This article takes the quality assurance system for Finnish preschool teachers as the research object.Firstly,using historical research methods,it summarizes the formation and historical development process of the quality assurance system for Finnish preschool teachers,and on this basis,summarizes the reasons and objectives for the establishment of the quality assurance system for Finnish preschool teachers;Secondly,the path of establishing a quality assurance system for young children in Finland was explored through literature research,and the roles played by major educational entities in Finland were analyzed;Finally,based on the current situation and problems of the quality and guarantee system construction of early childhood teachers in China,a comparative research method was used to summarize the inspiration of Finland’s experience for establishing a scientific early childhood education quality guarantee system in China.This article elaborates on the reasons for the topic selection,research status,main concepts,research objectives,and significance.Firstly,it introduces the historical evolution of the quality assurance system for Finnish preschool teachers,which is divided into three stages:the embryonic stage,the formative stage,and the mature stage.Secondly,the motivation for its establishment is revealed from three factors: cultural inheritance,social needs,and national development,in order to reach the goal of establishing a quality assurance system for Finnish preschool teachers.Once again,based on data from the Finnish Education Statistics Network,the effectiveness of implementing the quality assurance system for Finnish preschool teachers was analyzed.The results showed that the professional attractiveness,happiness index,and qualified number of Finnish preschool teachers have all improved,and the training path has been optimized.Finally,the inspiration brought by the Finnish quality assurance system for preschool teachers to China was summarized,including strengthening teacher qualification management and enhancing the professional abilities of preschool teachers;Develop a teacher development plan to strengthen the self-management of preschool teachers;Ensure the quality of teacher output and improve the quality level of early childhood education;Optimize the distribution structure of teachers and attach importance to the issue of fairness in early childhood education.
