A Comparative Study On The System Of Quality Assurance In Ed.M Cultivation Between China And America

Since it began to recruit students in 1997, Ed.M in China had made a rapid progress, although it has lasted for a little more than a decade. It gave us colorful experience about cultivating Ed.M. With its rapid development and lacking of the guide of mature theory, the problem about cultivating Ed.M has turned up gradually. In contrast, Ed.M cultivation in America is playing a lead role in the world, which has the high quality in cultivating Ed.M. Its most important experience is that it has the standards of Ed.M cultivation. Therefore, the article has great practical significance about discussing the system of quality assurance in Ed.M cultivation both in China and America.The article analyzes the system of quality assurance in Ed.M cultivation betwee China and America by adopting the research ways:documentary way and comparison way. The main characteristics are that non-governmental organizations is main part of its quality assurance system, that it has the standards of Ed.M cultivation, that ability is the first in Graduate Admission Criteria, that its curriculums is made flexiblely, that its teaching methods is colorful and practical, that its teachers management system is perfect.Part four is the discussion about how to build the system of quality assurance in Ed.M cultivation in China more perfectly.
