With a number of provinces new high school entrance examination sports policy has been introduced,volleyball,as an important part of junior high school physical education curriculum and one of the important contents of the high school physical education elective examination,has been increasing its status in middle school physical education teaching.However,due to the influence of traditional teaching concepts,the development of volleyball teaching has encountered many problems.It is necessary to innovate and collaborate with novel teaching modes and teaching practice methods,so as to break the inherent traditional learning mode and improve the quality of volleyball teaching.As a method of psychological skills training,representation training has been rapidly developed in the field of sports and is widely used in the teaching of sports.Through the application of image training in junior high school volleyball teaching,this study explores its influence on junior high school volleyball teaching effect.This study adopts the method of literature,questionnaire and experiment to conduct teaching experiment research.By random sampling,students from Class 7and Class 11,Grade 8 of Maosui Middle School in Handan City are selected as experimental objects,with 45 students in the experimental class and 42 in the control class.The control group was taught in the traditional teaching mode,while the experimental group was taught with imagery training on the basis of traditional teaching.After 12 weeks of teaching intervention experiment,SPSS26.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data before and after the experiment,the research results of this thesis are as follows:1.There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the scores of half "meter" movement,standing long jump,push-up and repeated crossing after the experiment(P>0.05);2.After the experiment,there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in the ability test of visual imagery and kinesthetic imagery(P<0.05);3.At the end of the teaching experiment,there were no significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in independent and inquiry learning and understanding of sports(P>0.05),but there were significant differences in the dimensions of negative interest in sports learning,active interest in sports learning,participation degree in sports and attention to sports(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the total score of sports learning interest(P<0.01);4.After the experiment,there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in the test scores of the front hand ball pad,the front passing technique and the effectiveness score of the receiving service(P<0.05),and there were significant differences in the effectiveness score of the adjusted passing and underhand serving technique(P<0.01).Conclusion:1.There is no significant difference between traditional teaching mode and traditional teaching mode in the influence of imagery training on the physical quality of junior middle school students;2.Imagery training can effectively improve junior middle school students’ imagery ability;3.The application of imagery training in junior high school volleyball teaching has a better promoting effect on junior high school students’ learning and mastering volleyball skills than the traditional teaching mode;4.Using imagery training to intervene can stimulate Junior high school students’ interest in physical education,relieve students’ negative emotions towards sports learning,enhance students’ participation in sports,and improve the classroom learning atmosphere.
