In the era of "Internet + education",the way of education and teaching is undergoing profound changes.The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 has promoted the rapid development of online education,and the necessity for teachers to use the Internet to carry out teaching activities has gradually increased.Although there are still some problems to be solved in the traditional teaching method,its advantages are beyond the reach of network teaching.After people’s in-depth practice,network teaching has gradually shown many drawbacks.In this context,the combination of online and offline teaching emerged,integrating the advantages of traditional teaching and online teaching,which can effectively make up for the shortcomings of the two single teaching methods online and offline,and respect the principal position of students while giving play to the leading role of teachers.This paper takes a middle school in Xi ’an as an example to conduct investigation and research,and finds that there are some problems in the application of online and offline hybrid teaching in high school ideological and political courses,such as teachers’ lack of practical application skills of online and offline hybrid teaching,students’ low enthusiasm for participating in online and offline hybrid teaching,and the practical effects of online and offline hybrid teaching fail to meet expectations.Further investigation found that the reasons for the above problems in the application of the online-offline hybrid teaching method in high school ideological and political classes were teachers’ insufficient ability to apply the online-offline hybrid teaching method,students’ one-sided understanding of the online-offline hybrid teaching method,and the lack of scientific and systematic online-offline hybrid teaching guidance.Finally,it puts forward some strategies to build a team of high-quality high school ideological and political course teachers,attach importance to students’ main learning status,and establish a mixed teaching system of online and offline,in order to improve the effectiveness of the application of online and offline mixed teaching in high school ideological and political courses.At the same time,the design of the teaching case of "Basic Problems of Philosophy" in "Philosophy and Culture",which is a compulsory course of high school ideology and politics,attempts to visually demonstrate the application of the online and offline mixed teaching method,in order to provide some theoretical and practical references for the implementation of the online and offline mixed teaching method in the ideological and political class of high school.
