As an important part of Chinese culture,regional culture is a unique material wealth and spiritual wealth formed by the people of a region in the long-term life,which provides important nutrition for the healthy growth of students.Modern and contemporary literary works occupy a considerable proportion in Chinese textbooks.Excavating the regional cultural resources and interpreting the text from the aspects of natural landscape,folk customs,architectural style,eating habits,dialect and dialect can stimulate students ’ love for local culture,strengthen students ’ traditional cultural heritage,enrich the teaching content of Chinese classroom and improve students ’Chinese literacy.Under the background of accelerating globalization,influenced by western culture and network culture,students ’ awareness of regional culture is weak,they know little about the content of regional culture,and even their values are distorted.Therefore,it is necessary to deeply analyze the regional cultural resources in Chinese textbooks to achieve the educational goal of cultivating people with morality.This paper is divided into three parts : The first part is an overview of the research on regional cultural resources in modern and contemporary Chinese literary works in senior high school.It defines the concept of regional culture and modern and contemporary literary works,and demonstrates the theoretical basis of using regional cultural resources in Chinese teaching from the aspects of Chinese curriculum standards and educational culture.The second part combs and analyzes the regional cultural resources in the modern and contemporary literary works of high school Chinese,classifies the regional cultural resources from five aspects : natural culture,folk customs,humanistic spirit,dialect and local art,and clarifies the characteristics of regional cultural resources in modern and contemporary literary works.The third part puts forward the teaching suggestions of regional cultural resources in modern and contemporary literary works : teachers should establish regional cultural awareness and enrich the knowledge structure of regional culture;flexible use of regional cultural resources,combining it with text interpretation;using a variety of learning methods to learn the essence of regional culture,such as thematic learning,comparative reading,integration and expansion of resources;develop regional culture school-based curriculum resources.
