Chinese textbook is not only an important carrier for students to acquire basic Chinese knowledge and ability,but also an important teaching tool for students to improve their Chinese literacy.In the high school Chinese textbook,a large number of modern and contemporary Chinese literary works including prose,poetry,novels and drama are selected and compiled.They are not only an important part of the history and culture of the Chinese nation,but also closely related to the actual life of students.Therefore,in the process of high school Chinese teaching,Chinese modern and contemporary literature works can play a very good role in education and guidance of students' emotional attitude and values.In this paper,the author defines the time of Chinese modern and contemporary literature as: since the 1917 literary revolution,the research scope is the vernacular works created after 1917,which are selected from the most widely used and influential high school Chinese Textbooks of Renjiao edition,Sujiao Edition,lunren edition and Yuejiao edition.Because there are not many materials about this topic,this paper attempts to get enough theoretical basis and practical support through literature research,comparative analysis,statistical analysis and comprehensive induction,so as to provide some feasible suggestions for the selection and compilation of teaching materials.First of all,this paper studies the contents and quantity of the selected works of Chinese modern and contemporary literature,and the arrangement of the works,so as to find out the characteristics and existing problems of the selected works of Chinese modern and contemporary literature in the current high school Chinese textbooks.Finally,in view of the existing problems,through consulting a large number of relevant materials and comparing the first-hand practical experience,the paper finally puts forward suggestions from four aspects: first,expanding the scope of the selection era.2? Balance the proportion of the four styles.3? We should establish an open and pluralistic concept of selecting articles.4? Set up a student-centered concept of text selection.
