In order to comprehensively deepen curriculum reform and implement the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and cultivating people,the unified edition of the junior Middle school Chinese textbooks have set up units "Activity and Inquiry" in the eighth and ninth grades,which is committed to guiding students to acquire independent,cooperative and inquiry-based learning methods in comprehensive speech practice activities and cultivate the core literacy of Chinese subjects.Based on the development of the times,the "Standards for Chinese Curriculum in Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)" clarifies the new requirements for language curriculum and teaching in the compulsory education stage,among which the teaching concept of "creating learning situations" emphasizes embedding language practice in real learning situations,and advocates that students effectively acquire and use language and writing in contexts,and develop necessary character and key abilities,which is regarded as the only way to cultivate students’ core literacy.In order to make the teaching of the "Activity and Inquiry" units more effective,teachers need to fully and accurately grasp the new requirements of the curriculum and actively create learning situations that meet students’ cognition and life reality according to the characteristics of each unit,so that students can participate in activities,learning and use language in real situations,so as to achieve the organic unity of all-round development and personality development,which is undoubtedly a great challenge for front-line teachers.Therefore,this paper takes the units of "Activity and Inquiry" in junior Middle school Chinese textbooks in the learning context as the research object,and sorts out the intention,writing and arrangement characteristics of the units of "Activity and Inquiry",explains the rationale and characteristics of the learning situation,and discusses the necessity of combining the learning context with "Activity and Inquiry" units.At the practical level,the implementation path of different types of learning situations in units teaching are explored,and the specific teaching design is presented with the poetry unit in the upper volume of grade 9 as an example,in order to provide feasible teaching strategies for teachers to carry out the "Activity and Inquiry" units.This paper consists of three sections,the introduction part,which details the research origin of the thesis according to the needs of the times and the requirements of the language course,defines the concepts of "learning Context" and "Activity and Inquiry" units,analyzes the research significance of this topic,consults relevant literature to understand the research overview of "Activity and Inquiry" units based on learning context,and determines the content and methods of the study.The main body of the paper contains four main parts: the first part summarizes the intention and arrangement characteristics of the "Activity and Inquiry" units,and fully reflects the teaching value of the "Activity and Inquiry" units.In the second part,by expounding the theoretical basis and basic characteristics of learning situations,it is clear that it is the general trend to introduce the creation of learning situations into the teaching of "Activity and Inquiry" units,which opens up a broader world for the Chinese classroom.In the third part,based on the content of the previous article,the specific implementation path of learning situations in the teaching of "Activity and Inquiry" units are proposed,and teachers are inspired to design different types of learning situations according to the characteristics of the unit to guide students’ learning.The fourth part,combined with the poetry unit,analyzes the content and task characteristics of the selected texts,provides relevant teaching cases,and realizes the transformation of research from theory to practice.The concluding part summarizes the findings of this paper and reflects on the shortcomings.
