| Quadratic function plays an important role in junior middle school mathematics teaching.It is not only a popular final test point in senior high school,but also lays a preliminary foundation for students to learn functions in general sense in senior high school.Therefore,it is of great significance to improve students’ solving ability of quadratic function to develop their abstract thinking,improve their thinking quality and develop their mathematical literacy.This thesis aims to integrate Polya’s thought of solving problems with quadratic function teaching.Based on the investigation of the current situation,this thesis puts forward some teaching strategies to improve students’ effectiveness in solving quadratic function problems.The main body of the thesis includes five chapters:The first chapter analyzes the research background of the problem in detail from the two aspects of the importance of quadratic function teaching and the effectiveness of Polya’s problem-solving thought,and sorts out the research status of Polya’s problem-solving thought and quadratic function at home and abroad,and expounds the content,methods and significance of the research.The second chapter defines the concepts of quadratic function and teaching strategy.Through reading Polya’s monograph,it summarizes Polya’s problem-solving thoughts,including the introduction of "How to solve problem table" and Polya’s teaching thoughts.Chapter three and chapter four are under the guidance of Polya’s problem-solving thought,through the form of questionnaire and interview,to carry out a survey on the teaching and learning of quadratic functions.It is found that the following problems exist in the teaching of quadratic function: Students’ interest in learning is not high,and they are afraid of difficulties;Students’ problem-solving habits are poor and their thinking quality needs to be improved;Students lack a good knowledge structure and it is difficult to use it flexibly;Teachers’ teaching methods are single,and students’ dominant position is difficult to reflect;Example teaching is superficial and does not fully develop students’ thinking.Then from the knowledge factor,student factor,teaching factor three aspects of the existing problems are attributed.In Chapter five,based on the results of data analysis,combined with Polya’s problem-solving thought,and following the three teaching principles of active learning,learning motivation and step-by-step,the author puts forward the strategies to optimize the teaching of quadratic function,as follows: Attach importance to example teaching and play multiple roles;Pay attention to students’ knowledge structure and build the foundation for solving problems;Pay attention to teaching details and cultivate students’ good habit of solving problems. |
