Report to the 20 th CPC National Congress of the Party clearly pointed out,"Promote the normalization and institutionalization of education on ideals and beliefs,continue to do a good job in the education of party history,the history of New China,the history of reform and opening up,and the history of socialist development,guide the people to know history,love the party,know history and patriotism,and constantly strengthen Socialism with Chinese characteristics’ s common ideal." This means that the party and the country have new requirements for basic education,and educators and researchers need to deeply understand the current situation of students’ ideals and beliefs in order to promote the development of ideals and beliefs education.Junior high school students are the future builders and successors of the motherland.Strengthening the education of ideals and beliefs of junior high school students is of great significance for promoting the successors of Socialism with Chinese characteristics’ s cause,realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the healthy growth of junior high school students.Ideological and political course is the key course to carry out the fundamental task of cultivating people by virtue and rule of law.Morality and rule of law is an ideological and political course in compulsory education stage,aiming at cultivating new people with ideals,skills and responsibilities,which also determines that education of ideals and beliefs is an indispensable content of Morality and rule of law,guiding junior high school students to strengthen their socialist beliefs and establish lofty ideals.The education of ideals and beliefs for junior high school students is essentially to expand and implement the education of ideals and beliefs in all aspects,not only to the course of Morality and Rule of Law.The paper begins with an introduction and four chapters.The introduction explains the background,reasons and importance of the chosen topic for the paper,analyses the current state of relevant research at home and abroad,introduces the research ideas and research methods as well as the innovative points and shortcomings of the paper.Chapter one: Overview of the Education of Ideals and Beliefs.This part of the study is the logical starting point of this paper,which mainly explains the relevant connotations of Ideals and Beliefs Education,the content of Ideals and Beliefs Education in Morals and Laws and the importance and necessity of conducting Ideals and Beliefs Education in Morals and Laws Classroom Teaching in primary schools.Chapter two: Exploring the current situation of introducing ideals and beliefs education in morals and law and order lessons in lower secondary schools.Using questionnaires and interviews,the current situation of values and beliefs education in moral and law and order lessons in y schools in x cities was studied and the results were subjected to statistical analysis to provide the basis for the study.Chapter three: Analysis of the main problems in the education of ideals and beliefs in Morals and Law and Order lessons in lower secondary schools and their causes.Based mainly on the results of the survey and research,the main problems in the education of ideals and beliefs in Morals and Law and Order lessons in lower secondary schools are explained and the reasons for these problems are analyzed.Chapter four: The Way of Fostering Ideals and Beliefs in Morals and Policing Lessons in Lower Secondary Schools.This part of the study is the logical conclusion of the research of this paper and focuses on exploring effective ways of nurturing ideal beliefs in moral and law and order lessons in lower secondary schools to foster ideal beliefs in younger students.
