With the rapid development of society and the rapid improvement of people’s living standards,society has also put forward new requirements for talent training.Deep learning aimed at cultivating students’ higher-order thinking and abilities has become a new requirement for education innovation;on the other hand,technology empowerment has brought strong support and power to education: emerging technologies represented by 5G communication technology,virtual reality technology,and big data have built a stable operating platform for education stepping into the post-epidemic era,and also provide a strong impetus for education pointing to digital transformation,and teaching and learning changes are inevitable.In such a context,OMO teaching has come into people’s view as a new teaching mode that breaks the barriers between online and offline space and integrates the intersection of virtual and real space and time.Therefore,in the current educational environment,it is of great theoretical significance and practical value to explore how to carry out OMO teaching for deep learning in the new normal,and to discuss how to promote students’ knowledge construction,cultivate students’ higher-order ability and awaken students’ learning motivation in the OMO mode.This study relies on the national community of practice project "SPOC Environment OMO Teaching Innovation Community of Practice" and the undergraduate course "Learning Science and Technology" in Educational Technology to explore the path of OMO teaching for deep learning with the concept of deep learning as the guide.The main work of this study includes the following four aspects:Firstly,this paper analyzes the current situation of research on deep learning and OMO teaching at home and abroad by using literature research method.By analyzing the general teaching mode of OMO teaching,the paper explains the inner connection and value of deep learning and OMO teaching,and answers the questions of "what" and "why".Secondly,based on the analysis of existing studies on the principles of constructing the implementation framework of OMO teaching and learning,this study proposes the principles of centrality,flexibility,integration,systematization and technology senselessness,and combines the experience and results of constructing teaching models for deep learning under other teaching models to construct an implementation framework of OMO teaching and learning for deep learning consisting of deep learning goal modules(knowledge layer,ability layer and emotion layer)and OMO teaching implementation modules(technology layer,environment layer,student learning activities layer and teacher-led activities layer),and optimizes the framework based on the expert interviews.Thirdly,based on the implementation framework and combined with expert interviews,this study develops four application strategies based on self-directed learning task sheets for personalized learning,interactive participation strategies based on an interactive platform,group collaboration strategies based on a live streaming platform,and learning evaluation strategies based on multidimensional evaluation,and describes their specific implementation aspects.Finally,this study conducted two sets of pre-and post-test educational quasi-experiments with 66 students from a teacher-training university in S province in the class of 2021,and the results were carefully analyzed with the help of questionnaires,hierarchical analysis,and interviews.The experimental results showed that the implementation framework and application strategy of deep learning-oriented convergent teaching effectively promoted the overall level of students’ deep learning,but the effect in the affective dimension was not obvious;secondly,the implementation framework and application strategy basically ensured that the near-end and farend students’ deep learning was homogeneous and equivalent under the convergent teaching,but some students’ learning was slightly different from the overall level.On the whole,the implementation framework and application strategy of deep learning-oriented convergent teaching achieved homogeneous and equivalent deep learning of students under convergent teaching,and promoted deep learning of students compared with traditional teaching methods.
