The task-based teaching method in history teaching refers to a new type of history teaching method in middle schools that focuses on tasks,takes students as the main body,and teachers as the leading role,promoting students’ autonomous and cooperative learning.The task-based teaching method in junior high school history classroom teaching emphasizes student centered,allowing students to think and practice.It is a teaching method that can truly cultivate students’ historical literacy and demonstrate the characteristics of junior high school history teaching.Based on the analysis and interpretation of a large number of literature materials,this article deeply analyzes the basic connotation and characteristics of task-based teaching methods,while making a detailed planning and classification of task settings.Through a large number of case studies,this article clarifies the specific teaching links and principles of task-based teaching methods,and further explores the basic effectiveness of the application of task-based teaching methods in junior high school history teaching.Finally,the article clearly demonstrates the specific implementation process and practicality of the task-based teaching model in middle school history teaching through the case design and analysis of the "May 4th Movement" lesson in the eighth grade history textbook of the People’s Education Edition.In short,the most prominent feature of task-based history teaching in middle schools is to optimize history classroom teaching through classroom tasks,transform teaching methods driven by tasks,increase teaching activities,enhance students’ autonomy,and allow students to fully participate in classroom teaching activities.
