Sports homework is an important way to implement moral education, promote quality education, and promote the physical health of young people,as well as an important bridge between family, school and society, and an important measure to achieve the goal of the "double reduction" policy. In November 2021,Luoyang City issued a three-year action plan for the reform and development of basic education, which includes fundamentally changing the status quo of "growing in wisdom, neglecting morality, weakness in physical fitness and beauty, and lack of labour",and formulating a three-year implementation plan for health promotion actions in primary and secondary schools in Luoyang City.Primary and secondary schools are actively exploring the implementation of physical education homework.Under the influence of the long-term "marks and promotion" assessment system, there are still problems in the implementation of PE homework in junior high schools, such as teachers’,parents’ and students’ one-sided understanding of PE homework and the lack of maturity of the implementation plan. This study uses literature, survey, experimental, logical analysis and mathematical and statistical methods to study the homework of junior high school students in Luoyang.Through analysing the results of students’ questionnaires, teachers’ and parents’ interviews, the study was able to further grasp the current situation of the implementation of PE homework in junior high schools in Luoyang, analyse the current difficulties in the implementation of PE homework and propose strategies for its optimisation, taking the PE homework of students in Years 7,8 and 9 of L Junior High School as the main entry point to develop an optimisation plan for PE homework. Two classes were randomly selected as the experimental class and the control class in Year 9 of L Junior High School. The experimental class adopted the optimized PE homework implementation scheme, while the control class adopted the traditional way of uniformly assigning PE homework.Statistical analysis was conducted. The following conclusions were drawn from the study:(1)After the implementation of the "double reduction" policy in Luoyang City, there was an increase in the time, difficulty and burden of PE homework compared to that before the implementation of the "double reduction" policy, but there was no significant change in the interest of the homework.73.23% of students think that homework practice can help them improve their performance in PE examinations;when assigning homework in PE,they should take into account the students’ physical fitness level and interests;(2)Under the background of the "double reduction" policy, the dilemmas faced by junior high school PE homework in Luoyang City include the dilemma of homework quality, the dilemma of awareness of physical activities, and the dilemma of collaboration among families, schools and communities;(3)The design of PE homework should be based on the principles of purpose, thinking, variation and openness;the content design should combine PE homework with classroom learning content, content of secondary school sports, content of traditional sports and content of family parent-child interaction, and be formulated in a fun-oriented way;the form of homework should combine interdisciplinary homework content, enrich homework The homework form should combine interdisciplinary homework content, diversify homework, and design "menu" packages,so as to improve the quality of physical education homework programmes;(4)Based on the implementation plan for optimising junior high school PE homework, the experimental group was given an optimised homework programme. The results of the18-week experimental intervention showed that the mean value of the football ball rounding score was about 10.77±5.55 in the experimental group and 10.99±5.40 in the control group. The mean value of 800m(female)and 1000m(male)performance was about 21.17±6.35 in the experimental group and 20.97±5.67 in the control group, and the mean value of 800m(female)and 1000m(male)performance in the experimental group improved by 3.18 points in the post-test.The mean value of 800 m(female)and 1000 m(male)in the experimental group was about 13.35±2.37,while that of the control group was about 12.69±2.13.The mean value of vertical jump in the experimental group was about 13.35±2.37,while that of the control group was about 12.69±2.13.The mean value of the experimental group was 45.30±9.12 and the mean value of the control group was 44.65 ± 6.83.The mean value of the experimental group was 45.30±9.12 and the mean value of the control group was 44.65±6.83.The mean value of the experimental group was 45.30±9.12 and the mean value of the control group was 44.65±6.83.The post-test scores of the experimental group were all significantly better than the pre-test scores, and the magnitude of the improvement was significantly better than that of the control group students. The results showed that the post-test scores of the control group were also better than the pre-test scores, but the increase in scores was smaller and significantly smaller than the experimental group.Within the constraints of the experimental conditions, the small improvement in the control group can be understood and attributed to the students completing traditional PE homework during the cycle.Based on the findings, the following recommendations are made:(1)strengthen the promotion of policies related to PE homework and arrange for PE teachers to study and exchange PE homework-related documents with each other;(2)enhance the publicity of PE homework to help families, schools and communities reach a consensus on the value of PE homework;(3)explore the exchange and integration of relevant resources between schools and society to promote the "home, school and community(3)explore the exchange and integration of resources between schools and the community to promote the joint development of "home, school and community" physical education;(4)give full play to the "key" position of parents. |
