| In the 21 st century,where the importance of computational thinking is increasingly highlighted,IT teachers assume the important responsibility of cultivating students’ computational thinking.At the same time,the guidance of policies also enables the education of computational thinking to gain a firm foothold in the education of information technology,and computational thinking has become the focus and difficulty of information technology curriculum.However,existing researches seldom pay attention to the teaching efficacy and teaching ability of the implementers of computational thinking teaching.Therefore,this study,from the perspective of pre-service teachers of information technology,explores the current situation of the teaching efficacy of computational thinking of pre-service teachers of information technology,and analyzes the factors affecting the teaching efficacy of computational thinking of pre-service teachers.This paper provides reference for improving the teaching efficacy of computational thinking of pre-service IT teachers and improving the teaching strength of IT courses.In this study,based on the existing theoretical basis and authoritative scale,a questionnaire on the teaching efficacy of pre-service IT teachers’ computational thinking was compiled,which was filled out anonymously by students from junior to junior postgraduate of educational technology major and computer science and technology(teacher training)major in Northeast China to obtain data on the current situation of the teaching efficacy of pre-service IT teachers’ computational thinking.At the same time,online interview was conducted to obtain the information technology pre-service teachers’ cognition of the teaching efficacy of computational thinking.According to the analysis results,it can be seen that the teaching efficacy of pre-service IT teachers’ computational thinking is generally above the average level,among which the general teaching efficacy of computational thinking is slightly higher than that of individual teaching efficacy of computational thinking.The majors of pre-service IT teachers did not have significant differences in the teaching efficacy of computational thinking.Different internship experiences and different teaching experiences of computational thinking did not have significant differences in the general teaching efficacy of computational thinking.Gender,grade,school type,internship experience,subjects taught during internship,teaching experience of computational thinking,willingness to teach information technology subject,understanding and description of computational thinking in the new curriculum standard all have significant differences on the teaching efficacy of computational thinking.Finally,this paper explores the relationship between pre-service IT teachers’ computational thinking ability and teaching efficacy of computational thinking.Correlation analysis results show that there is a significant positive correlation between computational thinking ability and teaching efficacy of computational thinking.Regression analysis results show that computational thinking ability has a predictive effect on teaching efficacy of computational thinking,the higher the score of computational thinking ability,The higher the level of teaching efficacy of computational thinking.On the basis of sorting out and analyzing the current situation of teaching efficacy of IT pre-service teachers’ computational thinking,this paper proposes the countermeasures to improve the teaching efficacy of IT pre-service teachers’ computational thinking from the aspects of normal university students themselves,colleges and universities and the national government. |
