With the rapid changes of the times and environment, digitalization and mediation have become the social reality and basic environment that people must adapt to.Digital technology has penetrated into all aspects of people’s lives, changing people’s life scenes and shaping a new survival ecology. But not everyone can equally enjoy the dividends of digital technology, the younger generation as "digital natives" are inspired by unprecedented creativity and vitality, while the older generation as "digital migrants" are gradually marginalized. There are great differences between the two generations in terms of digital use skills, digital thinking patterns and values, forming a "digital generation gap".The digital generation gap problem is a problem that arouses social attention and needs to be solved urgently, and the digital feeding behavior between family generations derived from the digital generation gap phenomenon is an effective way to bridge the digital generation gap.It not only conforms to the universal law of cultural inheritance and digital development, but also adapts to the unique intergenerational relationship and interaction mode of Chinese society, and is more practical and feasible. In the context of digitalization, people’s life scenes are presented as the integration of online and offline, and the carrier of family communication is gradually shifting to digital media, and parent-child interaction in the family field is inevitably affected by the digital situation. Both parents and children are unwilling to create an invisible generation gap between each other due to digital differences,so digital feeding is a positive attempt to benefit both parents and children. At present, most young people are separated from their parents due to the needs of study and work, and digital media can not only maintain the basic social needs between parents and children, but also increase the emotional expression channels of two generations. The feedback behavior based on digital media platform is a manifestation of parent-child interaction, and it also reflects the inheritance of Chinese traditional filial piety culture in the digital era. This study conducted in-depth interviews with 10 families with post-95 generations in Yinchuan urban area of Ningxia, using the WeChat platform as the carrier to analyze the difference in digital use between parent-child generations, focusing on the digital feeding behavior caused by this difference and the impact of this behavior on parent-child relationship. It is tried to prove that digital feeding behavior within the family is an effective way to bridge the digital generation gap, eliminate the generational gap and promote parent-child interaction and communication.
