| With the development of tennis events in China, the demand for tennis umpires is increasing and therefore the requirements for umpires’ officiating ability are also raised. This paper applies the micro-grid teaching method to tennis umpire training, and uses teaching experiments, expert interviews and literature to investigate the value of micro-grid teaching in tennis umpire training classes. In this study, the semester assessment requirements in the syllabus of the Wuhan Institute of Physical Education and Sport were used as the experimental indexes, and the two experimental groups were taught with micro-grid teaching and traditional teaching methods respectively.1.The mean scores of the tennis umpiring theory test in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group.2.The use of micro-grid teaching in the classroom can effectively improve students’ learning attitude and motivation. The use of micro-grid teaching in the classroom has been shown to be an important tool in improving the officiating ability of tennis referees.3.Micro-grid teaching has significant advantages for the development of students’ tennis officiating skills. The use of micro-grid teaching allows students to gain more autonomy, enhances their sense of participation, makes communication between teachers and students more efficient, and improves students’ learning ability and overall quality.4.Micro-grid teaching injects new content into the organisation of tennis refereeing classroom teaching, shortens the formation time of students’ officiating ability, accelerates the pace of cultivating students’ officiating ability, and achieves better teaching effect.5.Micro-grid teaching can provide students with mirror feedback.Through modern audio-visual technology, feedback is given at various points in the teaching process, thus forming additional feedback. In combination with the teacher’s and peers’ evaluations, students can gradually optimise their teaching and thus improve their skills.Micro-grid teaching will improve the officiating ability of tennis referees and thus meet the needs of various tournaments and promote the development of the tennis referee profession. |
