Research On The Characteristics Of Offensive Tactics After The Timeout Of The NCAA Men’s Basketball Finals In The 2021-2022 Season

With the development of basketball,the competitive level of basketball competitions at all levels has been continuously improved,and the skills of players in various positions have become more and more comprehensive.At the same time,basketball tactics have also developed in a more flexible and diverse direction.As an independent tactical sequence,ATO(After Time Out)tactics are tactics set by the coach group to solve the team ’s problems or change the team ’s current situation when the team is suspended,which can also be called ’ post-suspended tactics ’.By training different coordination units to form a special tactical system on the spot,it has become one of the key means for coaches to influence the game.At present,the theoretical research on basketball tactics focuses on the causes of suspension and the effect of suspension,while the relevant research on the tactical characteristics after suspension is very lacking.This paper takes all the post-pause tactics in the 2021-2022 NCAA quarter-finals of the United States as the research object,and uses the literature data method,video analysis method,expert interview method and mathematical statistics method to analyze the post-pause tactical characteristics in the quarter-finals of the strongest competition of American college basketball.It summarizes the relevant concepts and systems of tactical formulation after the suspension of the quarter-finals,hoping to provide theoretical basis for the tactical development of basketball teams at all levels in China after the suspension,and provide reference for coaches in China to improve their on-the-spot coaching ability.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows :1.After the suspension of the semi-finals,the tactics are mainly based on large space placement.For example,the positions of ’ 5 outer ’ and ’ 4 outer 1 inner ’ are outside the three-point line,and the overall position is in the form of high center of gravity.The attack space between players is sufficient to better adapt to the execution of different tactics after suspension.2.After the suspension of the semi-finals,the tactical end selection design is more inclined to medium and close distance.More than half of the end zone is in the threesecond zone,and most of the end choices in the non-three-second zone are strong-side offenses.The bottom corner attack chooses to shoot more in the middle,and reduces errors by reducing long-distance passing in the half.3.The setting of tactical coordination unit after the suspension of the finals should not be too complicated.The two main coordination units are the most used as tactical structures,and the tactical success rate is the highest.4.After the suspension of the quarterfinals,the tactical coordination unit mostly uses the ballless coordination method,with the highest tactical flexibility.Followed by the ball cover and singles,singles choice forward best.
