| Illustration is an important part of the textbook,illustration and text complement each other,and are an important way for students to feel and appreciate the beauty and give students aesthetic education.With the development of science and technology and new media,teachers and students are surrounded by colorful pictures and pictures,and the aesthetic requirements for illustrations are getting higher and higher.However,in practical teaching,illustrations are not paid attention to by teachers and students,and it is difficult to give full play to their value.In this case,how to adapt textbook illustrations to the development of the times and enhance the aesthetic nature of illustrations to cultivate students’ aesthetic ability through illustrations is a problem worth discussing.This study takes the illustrations of Beijing Normal University edition of junior high school mathematics textbook,the purpose is to understand how the illustrations appear in the aesthetic aspect,whether they adapt to the development of The Times and whether it meets the aesthetic needs of teachers and students at the present stage.This study uses the text analysis method to first analyze the characteristics of the illustrations of Beijing normal university edition from the two aspects of content beauty and formal beauty.Secondly,the questionnaire survey method is mainly adopted,supplemented by the interview method,to investigate the front-line teachers and students.The questionnaire sets the questions from three dimensions: teachers and students’ attitude towards the beauty of the mathematics textbook illustrations,the perception of the real beauty and the overall evaluation of the aesthetic appreciation of the mathematics textbook illustrations.The purpose is to understand the characteristics and deficiencies of the textbook illustrations from the perspective of the use subject.Through investigation and analysis,the aesthetic features of illustrations of Beijing Normal University are summarized as follows: the illustrations match the text;rich in connotation,presenting a colorful world;pay attention to the change of detail and beauty;multidisciplinary integration;the combination of dominant and recessive presents mathematical beauty.In form,the page layout is serious and lively;the proportion of the golden section.The shortcomings include: some illustrations are outdated and lack timeliness;ignore the personalized aesthetic needs of students;relatively single illustration style;ignore the Sinicization of illustrations;lack of innovation of illustrations;lack of change of cover illustrations.Through the investigation,it is also found that the use subject of illustrations has the following problems: teachers do not have a deep understanding of the aesthetic value of illustrations,and students lack correct guidance and guidance.Based on the above deficiencies,the suggestions are as follows: firstly,for the illustration makers,form the compilation concept,insight into the development of illustrations,listen to the suggestions of teachers and students,enrich the techniques of expression and present the mathematical knowledge artistically,add traditional elements,highlight Chinese characteristics;novel and unique form,reflect the consciousness of mathematical innovation;enhance the beauty of cover,and integrate the beauty of mathematics.Secondly,for teachers,change the educational concept and pay attention to the educational function of illustrations;analyze the illustrations and understand the aesthetic implication of illustrations;guide students to read the pictures and give play to the aesthetic function of illustrations.Finally,for students,pay attention to illustrations and read pictures actively for them;find various channels of communication,create an environment to appreciate illustrations;give full play to imagination and make illustrations "alive". |
