The optional course of physical education is a major innovation in the reform of physical education curriculum in colleges and universities.Through the optional course of physical education,students can expand their sports skills and broaden their sports vision.Swimming is a popular item in the optional course of physical education.It is worth pondering how to develop a swimming course that satisfies students.In the process of swimming teaching,students are both the main body of the class and the "consumer" of the course.The construction and reform of the course cannot be separated from students’ feedback and evaluation.This study,from the perspective of students,explores students’ satisfaction with different levels of the optional course of swimming,and explores the factors that affect students’ satisfaction,It provides reference for school curriculum reform and teacher teaching design.On the basis of previous studies,this study combined the Two-Factor theory and the SERVQUAL theory to build the model and hypothesis of this study.Through SPSS 28.0 and AMOS 28.0 software to process the data and build the model,analyze the relationship between various latent variables.The research results are as follows:(1)The scale of learning satisfaction of swimming optional courses was prepared,and the structural equation model was constructed,and the model was fitted,verified and analyzed to explore the correlation between different latent variables and learning satisfaction.(2)The average learning satisfaction of the swimming optional course in Wuhan Institute of Physical Education is 4.52 points,which is higher than the general satisfaction and close to the relatively satisfactory observation value,indicating that the students’ subjective evaluation of the swimming optional course is relatively positive,but there are still some differences in different dimensions of satisfaction,and there is still room for improvement in teaching work;Among the seven dimensions of satisfaction,interpersonal satisfaction is the highest(M=4.80)and service management satisfaction is the lowest(M=4.25).(3)Through the analysis of model path coefficient,it is verified that seven latent variables,including assurance,reliability,ideality,tangibility,empathy,responsiveness,and task technology adaptation,have a significant impact on swimming learning satisfaction.Among the second-order variables,the health factor has the highest correlation with satisfaction.(4)Through the stepwise regression validation analysis of the control variables,it was found that the gender,grade and swimming learning experience of the survey group had no significant impact on the swimming learning satisfaction.There was a significant difference in learning satisfaction between students majoring in sports and non-sports majors,and the satisfaction degree of sports majors was higher than that of non-sports majors.
