Objective:With the gradual release of the control of the COVID-19 epidemic, major running events across the country will restart. With the unprecedented improvement of residents’ health awareness, the phenomenon of "running craze" and "marathon craze" will reappear.More and more fitness enthusiasts will participate in running, and more and more experienced runners will seek breakthroughs with higher performance.Based on this, this study:(1)To explore the effects of concurrent endurance and strength training on aerobic function, running economy, neuromuscular function, and athletic performance of amateur runners.(2)Compare the difference in improvement effects of endurance training, strength training, and single endurance training on the above indicators during the same periodMethods :Based on the evaluation of indicators such as aerobic function, neuromuscular function, and 10 km test scores before and after training in the same period and endurance group, the effects of the same period of endurance and strength training and single endurance training on the running economy of amateur runners were compared. The effectiveness of the training program on amateur runners was evaluated.Sixteen male amateur runners were randomly divided into the same period of endurance and strength training group and the endurance training group.During the 8-week experimental period, the endurance training group received routine endurance and strength endurance training, while the corresponding group received the same amount of endurance and strength training as the endurance group. The body composition of the subjects before and after the experiment was tested using a human body tester.Obtain the maximum oxygen uptake as an aerobic function indicator through the treadmill incremental load test; The 12 km/h oxygen uptake and 12 km/h heart rate were obtained through a constant load test on a treadmill. The 12 km/h oxygen uptake was used as the economic indicator for running in this study.Use the maximum oxygen uptake speed as the basis for formulating the intensity of the training program later.Neuromuscular index data were obtained through a single repetitive maximum strength squat(1RM),static squat jump(SJ),counter movement jump(CMJ),and deep jump(DJ)test.Obtain performance data through the 10 km test on the field.results:(1)Aerobic function: After 8 weeks of experiment,VO2 max in the same period group increased by 2.55%(P>0.05),while VO2 max in the endurance group increased significantly by 5.34%(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in VO2 max changes between the two groups(P>0.05).In the same period group, the heart rate at 12 km/h decreased significantly by 4.01%(P<0.05),while in the endurance group, the change before and after treatment was not significant, being 1.24%(P>0.05).(2)Body composition and neuromuscular: Before and after 8 weeks of training, there were no significant differences in body weight,BMI,BF,and other indicators between the same period group and the endurance group(P>0.05).After 8 weeks of experiment, the weight of 1RM squat in the same period group was significantly increased by 19.65%(P<0.01),the squat jump was significantly increased by 14.6%(P<0.01),the deep jump depth was significantly increased by 13.42%(P<0.01),the CMJ reverse vertical jump was significantly increased by 8.88%(P<0.01),and the EUR was significantly increased by 3.7%(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the above indicators in the endurance group(P>0.05).Among the above indicators, there was a significant difference between the two groups in 1RM,SJ,and CMJ(P<0.01),while there was a significant difference in dj and eur(P<0.05)(3)10 km performance test: After 8 weeks of training, the 10 km performance in the same period group significantly improved by 7.2%(P<0.01),and the endurance group significantly improved by 4.9%(P<0.05)Conclusions:(1)This study lasted for 8 weeks, and included three endurance exercises per week, one simultaneous endurance and strength training of mixed strength training. It can significantly improve the running economy of amateur runners at 12 km/h,1 RM deep squat strength, lower limb explosive strength, reaction strength, muscle centrifugal utilization, and 10 km performance.(2)The simultaneous training program in this study can reduce the running volume of the equivalent endurance training program by 25%,and the VO2 max changes before and after the experiment are not significant.(3)In this study, simultaneous training with a weekly mileage of 30 to 60 kilometers did not cause injury or illness to runners.
