China(Hainan)Museum of the South China Sea is one of the first national practical & educational bases for primary and secondary school,the museum was honored many times for taking the lead in carrying out educational travel.Its exploration of the development mode of educational travel has important reference value for other research bases in Hainan and other regions of China.This paper studies the educational travel of China(Hainan)Museum of the South China Sea based on the theory of Experiential Learning and the theory of Tourist Perception.The ASEB analysis method was used to investigate the existing resources and conditions of the museum to carry out educational travel and the evaluation of current situation of local junior and senior high students in Qionghai through field research,questionnaire,in-depth interviews,etc.According to the survey,the development of educational travel of the Museum takes advantages of unique geographical and climatic conditions,it is equipped with high-level information construction and abundant in curriculum and cultural resources,but there are also disadvantages such as lack of talents and cooperation,unreasonable layout,insignificant educational effects.According to the research and analysis results,and referring to the successful experience from other museums,this paper proposes optimization strategies in four aspects: Activities,Environment,Experience and Revenue.In terms of the development of educational activities,it is necessary to coordinate multiple forces and establish a longterm cooperation mechanism to ensure the sustainable development;Student-oriented,research programs are designed around the goals of the Trinity.To build a high-quality research route in Hainan,the local government should take the lead and integrates multiple resources.In relation to environmental improvement,I suggest that we should speed up the improvement of venue signage,highlight key exhibitions,and enhance the convenience of the venues by adding signage,electronic screens and video materials;At the same time,it is necessary to further optimize the layout of the venues,so as to create a cultural atmosphere,and improve the satisfaction of tourists.Tourists’ experience,we can actively cultivate a group of professional,capable,doubleprofessionally-titled instructors in conjunction with schools to improve guide services and increase emotional interaction.Finally,benefits,it is necessary to actively mobilize students’ initiative,cultivate students’ comprehensive quality through a large number of practices,and consolidate the educational knowledge by strengthening cultural edification.
