A complete composition teaching is composed of pre-assignment instruction,student work and post-assignment review,all of which are indispensable.On the one hand,it can diagnose the problems in the composition,let teachers know the effect of the composition guidance,and students know the problems of their own composition;on the other hand,it can also guide teachers to regulate the teaching process,help students improve their composition,and promote the development of the composition teaching.It can be seen that the effect of the assignment review will directly affect the effect of the assignment teaching,and its role cannot be underestimated.However,there are still a lot of problems in the actual exercise teaching,which makes the function of exercise assessment not fully developed.Therefore,in order to give full play to the function of exercise review and promote the development of students’ exercise ability,this study investigates the criteria,subjects,methods,rubrics and effects of exercise review in upper elementary grades through questionnaires,interviews and text analysis,summarizes the problems and analyzes the causes,seeks strategies to improve the current situation of exercise review,and tries to promote the effective implementation of exercise review.First of all,this study collected data from five dimensions,namely,criteria for work review,subjects of work review,methods of work review,rubrics for work review,and effects of work review,through questionnaires,interviews,and text analysis.For example,there is a lack of clear criterion for work review,and most students are not clear about the criterion for work review;the subjects of work review are single,mainly teachers’ review,with little participation from students and parents;the use of work review methods is inappropriate,mainly teachers’ detailed review,and the review is rarely combined with modern information technology such as multimedia,so the methods are single and lack of innovation;the role of work review rubric is not fully played,and there is a lack of textual rubric The effect of the work review is not satisfactory,and the students’ work level has been improved but the overall effect is not good.It can be seen that there are still a lot of areas to be improved in the actual implementation of the exercise review in the upper elementary grades,which need to be paid attention to by the majority of researchers.Secondly,the reasons behind the problems were actively explored,and strategies to improve the current situation of the assessment of upper elementary grades were proposed in a targeted manner.To this end,we summarize the strategies to improve the current situation of the upper elementary school composition review by clarifying the criteria of the composition review and indicating the direction of the review;expanding the subjects of the composition review and encouraging diversified participation;enriching the ways of the composition review and motivating students to participate;elaborating the composition review and guiding students to revise;improving the process of the composition review and improving the effect of the review;and so on,so as to promote the efficient and orderly implementation of the composition review and the proper effect of the composition review and promote The study of the students’ work can be improved by improving the review process.
