The focus of the new curriculum reform is to improve the students ’core literacy as porpurt,"model cognition" plays an important role in cognitive level of middle school students,which can help students to translate concrete knowledge into abstract concepts.Carrying out teaching activities about model constraction is beneficial to improve the students’ innovation ability and cognitive level.The test questions for college entrance examination pay attention to the analysis of the problem situation and the acquisition and processing of unfamiliar information,and the traditional teaching mode has been difficult to meet the requirements of the new college entrance examination.Based on the new curriculum standard,the two-dimensional model of "valencecategory" is taken as the teaching prototype to explore the application research of the model construction in reviewing the element compounds.“Element compound knowledge” is used in instructional design which is based on model construction teaching mode and applied to teaching practice,I analyze the data collected form the pretest and posttest in the two classes.The result shows that the model construction in chemistry teaching has a positive effect on improving the academic level of students and model instruction ability,which achieves the desired purpose.(1)Model construction can effectively helps students to integrate the knowledge of element compounds.By constructing,correcting,evaluating and applying models,students can understand and master the knowledge better,so as to stimulate them to think actively and integrate the knowledge.(2)Model construction can promote the development of students’ core literacy.In the teaching process,students should be guided from understanding the scientific models to establishing the model independently,so that students are not limited to the inherent knowledge.The openness of the model construction process makes students complete the exploration of new knowledge in class and improve the level of students’ thinking abilities.Through the model construction teaching,students can develop the core chemistry qualities such as scientific inquiry and innovation consciousness and evidence reasoning and model cognition.(3)The model construction can reflect the students’ cognitive development process.Curriculum reform emphasizes the process of learning.The model is constructed in the teaching process,mainly focusing on the correction and application of the model,and it also emphasizes the ability to understand and apply knowledge in real learning activities,so as to promote students’ cognitive development.(4)Model construction is conducive to the improvement of students’ academic level.In the process of chemistry teaching,by guiding students to establish a cognitive model independently,it is helpful to form a complete knowledge context,and has a positive effect on improving students’ academic level. |
