In recent years, with the continuous development of the entertainment industry,a kind of puzzle game, script game, which is mainly manifested by the role playing of real people, has been gradually derived. As an emerging cultural project, scripted games have been widely welcomed by young people, becoming an offline fashion entertainment second only to watching movies and exercising. So what is it about scripted games that attracts so many players and keeps them engaged? Some literature suggests that the immersive nature of scripted games and their strong emotional attachment to the game are important reasons for their willingness to participate. However, most of them start from theoretical research and do not combine empirical analysis for verification and in-depth research. In this paper, based on the review of relevant literature, starting from immersion experience, emotional attachment and participation intention, and with the help of SOR model, the interactive, entertainment and authenticity containing scripted game characteristics will be taken as pre-variables to explore their influence on immersion experience of intermediate variables, and whether immersion experience can play a mediating role between prevariables, emotional attachment and participation intention. At the same time,it explores whether immersive experience and emotional attachment to characters during scripted games have an impact on participation intention in scripted games. The main research method adopted in this paper is the questionnaire survey, taking script game players as the research objects, and finally collecting 317 pieces of effective data, and using the data analysis software SPSS to get the relationship between various variables,to verify the hypothesis. The final research results are as follows: immersion experience is affected by the three characteristics of interactivity, authenticity and entertainment, and these three characteristics have a positive impact on immersion experience, among which authenticity has the greatest impact on immersion experience. At the same time, immersion experience positively promotes emotional attachment and participation intention of scripted games. The three characteristics of interactivity, entertainment and authenticity can influence participation intention of scripted games through the mediating effect of immersion experience, and emotional attachment can also have a positive impact on participation intention. The results of difference analysis also show that the respondents of different ages, occupations and education levels have differences in the index performance of various factors. Finally, based on the results of empirical analysis, this paper puts forward three suggestions to improve the willingness of scripted games users to participate in: build script IP,XR technical support, talent training, and establish a professional host training mechanism, hoping to offer suggestions for the future development of scripted games.
